www.lpga.com/tournaments/bank-of-hope-founders-cup/final-fieldI'm surprised at the nice field.....I guess Jenny Money said...I need not attend and do a phony act and suck up to the Founders. Make China Great Again! Gulbis gets an invite...Happyfan and SYRfan are gonna lose it. I can guarantee Lydia is in Phoenix already cause Tina is ripping Parsons another ****hole that his clubs are JUNK. Tina's also cruising the parking lot to see if a local loop will work the week for a $200 pro shop GC. If there was any event that demonstrates that no one cares about the LPGA...it's this one. Likely crickets for attendance...yet 600,000+ went to the Waste Mgmt...nuff said.

Glad to see Q Baek in the field. I hope she can improve on last year. However she did not play that well on the KLPGA.

If you can't have a good time in Phoenix in March there is something seriously wrong with you. This tournament is a must stop.

Not so surprising the field is so strong. The last 2 years only the Kia has had a stronger field for a non major. What about the CWO's?

Lydia averaged 259.5 yards off the tee, which is 12 yards more than she was averaging last season. She also hit 90% of the fairways, which is above her 2016 season average.

Hello McFly....sarcasm alert. But we all know Tina needs to point the finger at someone cause Lydia has not yet won 3 events this year. I guess Lydia was still in Singapore shilling some Ecco shoes at a store instead of heading to Phoenix so Tina can take out a strip from Parsons.

Isn't this one of those tournaments where the winning score is always ridiculously low? (looks it up). Yup, last year Sei Young Kim won by shooting a 62 in the final round and 27 under total. I liked the result, obviously, but is it so much to ask that they toughen up a course now and again?

The ball will fly farther, I start to get more distance when it get hotter here. I played there and don't think it's a championship course anyway. You know they are going to set it up for the bombers advantage.

The desert really doesn't come into play for the pros....and I think it's hard to grow up the rough in Phoenix....especially in the winter....besides...they won't want long rough for resort guests. But it's the LPGA.....at least they aren't playing courses with windmills. I'm sure they don't want the gals....but nearby Greyhawk is pretty sweet. In 1997, we dropped in....I didn't play it...but I walked out to a fairway to have a look. I swear I was walking on astro turf...immaculate.

Yeah, the resort course is a pussycat. There are many other courses in the area that have teeth. Greyhawk doesn't have the land to support a tournament I would imagine, as it's pretty pinched by the surrounding housing.

argonne69It's nice that you have such a wealth of golf experience. Do you have any plans for Monterey Peninsula, Cabot Links or Bandon Dunes?

I don't play it anymore because I am to vain to move up to a shorter tee. Tonto Verde east of Greyhawk has the same great fairways.
