Quite a profound conclusion by Jack...but first, Rory has to improve to get past Jason Day! It's almost as illuminating as the comment made by Karen Stupples early in 2016 when she said, "If Lexi could make more putts per round, she'd be number one in the world." How about that!!! It comes down to the putter for Rory...strange how someone so young can get into putting slumps...he can win anywhere if he's rolling it right. As of now, if I needed a putt to save my life, I'd hand it over to Day or Spieth first. Day really has the best overall game in the world, but he seems to get injured or sick half the time, so his perch at the top is not in cement.

Rory is so far away from being a GOAT. I actually don't believe he'll get to 30 PGA tour wins....doesn't play much on the PGA tour...has too much money and all the young guys won't have long careers because their bodies are so busted up by swing resistance and working out so hard.
Yup if Rory could only putt and stop being a mental midget at times.
I watched the Tour Championship replay on Mon night. Ya can't teach speed...Rory is only 5'9" and beats the ball....he was 50-60 yds past Ryan Moore. It got me thinking that Lydia's lack of length will hold her back from being a woman's GOAT and wants to hang it up by 30. Let's not forget that after Mannika juiced it up...all of a sudden became the tour's driving distance leader for a while.
Ariya can be a mental midget....it still is unfathomable that a elite pro golfer can't hit a fully customized 460 CC driver...it's stupid. I hope Gilcrest gets a driver in her hands and influences her that she playing par 69 courses and helps fixes her mental softness at times.
Ariya is a power player who can chip and putt...unlike Lexi, Gerina, Korda, etc.

mr3puttYes, that's Ariya's real strength; impeccable short games.

mr3putt Yes, that's Ariya's real strength; impeccable short games. I wonder if Jenny Money will continue to play well...her putting was sharps after the Olympics...she's a good lag putter too.....and only until I saw her play a few holes back in 2015....she seems to play with confidence...especially off the tee. I also have been watching the Olympic replay.....it demonstrates how weak the women's game is when Winbee was playing with a 80% swing (thumb injury) slaughters her competition. Her swing was so weak...she had to hit a 3W into a par 4 on a hole....though she still hit it well. All I know is the Yank women will stink it up in 2017. Lexi's short game isn't gonna change overnight...it has not for the last 5 years...and Gerina will unfortunately continue to gag to miss winning....and Ms. Pouty Face and the Pink Diva should just stay home and bake muffins...they are IRRELEVANT....move over. I really get joy laughing how many....mainly Yanks...still call the LPGA...a Merican based tour. If the GREAT MAN can become Prez....I see no reason why the LPGA HQ can't set up in Seoul and BJ as the new commish....he sold many all the Wiezy Kool-Aid....therefore....BJ has the snake oil to make the LPGA as popular to the PGA tour.

Oh ya...I also expect Jason Day to have a short career....he's either sick or injured.

mr3putt Americans will do well in 2017; the Korda Sisters to the rescue. Whan has a good attitude about it. You can't control what's inside the ropes and things go in cycles. He said just 2 years ago asian sponsors were complaining that there were not enough asian winners.
