Six players from each of Japan's three tours will face off on Sunday, Dec. 11 at Glissando GC about 30 miles east of Tokyo. They'll play nine holes...3,613 yards for the young guys, 3,425 yards for the old guys, and 3,179 for the ladies. In a complicated points system, the young guys(13.5) beat the geezers(7.5) and the ladies(6.0). When I tuned in, they were playing alternate shot. The JLPGA might have had a chance for 2nd place, but all three of their pairings rinsed a ball on the last hole. I guess it was too cold for Shingo Katayama(left) to wear his Aussie Outback hat...the winners posed with "Chairman" Isao Aoki (upper left). Kotone Hori played with JY Shin on the back nine...Bo Mee Lee and Shin were paired on the front nine. Honma reunion, Ritsuko Ryu and Hideto Tanihara...more Shin & BML
