So how do all the media...and especially the fanboys stalkers know when Dumbo and other pros are flying in? I'm certain the guy in the yellow hat is the Flying Dumbo I chatted with at Sahalee...he was also at the airport to see her after she won the Evian. I bet it's not cheap to park your car at Incheon airport....likely $30-$40 for 90 minutes....then again he flew to Seattle to fanboy...he's in a suit....likely took the time from his job as some VP at a bank to fanboy Dumbo. Do they have a BINDER at the airport? I doubt anyone was at the airport to greet Lexi or MW when they won their 1st major. Would Dumbo be recognized if she was shopping at a mall in Seoul?

I wonder whether they would have a heroine welcome if somebody other than In Gee won a Vare Trophy as a rookie.

OK.....Dumbo has a round face...I think a round face in Asian culture is lucky...so maybe In Gee is destined for STARDOM unless Papa Jang decides to trip her in Singapore next year.

If Terminator wins the Vare next year...ROY is a given....the lesbians...all two of them ( I read on the internet...and it's all true...that Korea is not a LGBT friendly country) ...will greet her at Incheon airport next November. Korean women like the Terminators boyish looks....as per an article a while back....Dumbo vs. Terminator.

Hmmmm...why is Dumbo's dad wearing sunglasses inside an airport in November?....I think he was wearing sunglasses too when In Gee came home from her Evian win...seems kinda smug to me.....Papa Jang is the opposite...very nice and friendly to the Smiling Buddha at Sahalee. We've never seen Dumbo's mom greeting In Gee at the airport...I guess she's too busy getting The Good Doctor's luggage off the carousel and his sun umbrella.

If I see that Flying Dumbo at ANA I will immediately call for security. I wonder if his cell will have SYSR carved in the concrete wall?

I wonder if his cell will have SYSR carved in the concrete wall?LMAO No...don't be your usual dbag self......leave the guy alone and chat with him and buy him a Hite if you see him....he's a good guy....he's smart enough not to tell everyone how important and popular the KNC was.....laughable. I doubt you'll ever see SayYouSeRi at the ANA again.....considering he was shaking and crying.....he's too soft to tell the LPGA security to FO and leave him alone.

I wonder whether they would have a heroine welcome if somebody other than In Gee won a Vare Trophy as a rookie. Whenever a Korean woman wins a big tournament and returns home, she usually gets a big welcome. If it's a really popular player like In Gee or Sung Hyun Park, the greeting is even better. Don't kid yourself, from everything I can see, Sung Hyun Park is very popular there. She did beat In Gee last year for the Most Popular award, as voted by the fans (it was not Vare trophy close, but In Gee was a pretty close second in the voting).

Fan voting isn't a reliable indicator. Agnieszka Radwanska has been voted as fan favorite every year, when in reality she isn't even 5% as popular as either Serena Williams or Maria Sharapova. Also, Yao Ming was always the leading vote getter for NBA all star games.

I love how golfers get pop star-level treatment in Korea. While America bemoans the success of Asian golfers, no one seems to acknowledge the love affair between Koreans and golf. Okay so maybe they do have a strong developmental infrastructure and whatever, but they are also crazy about it and are still in a honeymoon period. It is a huge factor in their success. I don't recall Paula or Lexi or Natalie ever receiving a hero's welcome at the airport.

As I've always said...Merican women are to blame themselves.....they don't take golf seriously and except for the lesbians...very few women LPGA fangirls...even the young competitive teen girls golfers aren't really interested in the LPGA. Meanwhile, Korean women are nuts about watching women's golf and more importantly.....addicted to playing golf too...I've see it too often when I'm out playing golf or go out to practice. And of the few white women who do play golf...it's just 'hit and giggle".

mr3puttIt isn't just golf, with the exception of the Williams Sisters, American women are being shut out in tennis. At least American men are competitive in golf. In tennis, men are also non-competitive. America has less than 5% of world's population, there is really no reasons to expect world's domination in every sports unless there is a monopoly system.

Thanks for bringing this up...I was think about it while .......I just watched my State of the LPGA recording. Yes.....Merican guys on the PGA are doing pretty well....so the system in the US for golf isn't necessarily fractured. It's just that there are few girls in the US who really want to excel at golf...ya.ya ya...they join 1st tee programs and such....but only to drink Kool-Aid, eating gummy bears and wear pink ribbons. Blame the Yank parents too...they are too soft and don't toughen their daughters....when was the last time you heard a Merican girl say she had to sleep in a cemetery?....yup...that's what I thought.....ZERO!

Watch women's college volleyball or hockey once. Our athletes are not going into golf. End of story.
