I dozed off during the ING (probably because they hardly showed Mi Hyang's match), but I stayed awake for this one...photos to follow later.

At the end of the SBS Golf broadcast, they did a speedy video review of the 17 wins by Koreans on the JLPGA this year. None of them were first-time winners, but then I heard HJ Shin mention the Korean names in q-school, so there may be some new winners in 2017. Assuming the usual rules are applied, the top-5 on the money list will get a free pass into next year's USWO if they choose to take it: Bo Mee Lee JY Shin Ritsuko Ryu Ha Neul Kim Ai Suzuki Sky and the Family Stone New wheels...but the hardware is just for show? The full field...Megumi Kido taking selfie with BML, Sun Ju Ahn, and SY Kang Misuzu Narita birdied #18 and waited for a playoff that never happened. Ji Hee Lee and Teresa Lu Yumiko Yoshida and Kotone Hori

Great win for Ha Neul. Sure wish the KLPGA could find a way to keep their top drawing players.

I read an article this morning on a Korean website where Ha Neul credited her win to a change in putters two weeks ago. Her dad suggested she use a putter she had been using in practice, and worked with her on her wrist and grip on the putter. Apparently it made all the difference last week!

I found this hilarious clip of Ha Neul that was published shortly after she won her first event of this year in Japan. Apparently she has a rather unorthodox method for practicing sand shots?
