I talked to two guys that have played Trump Bedminster. They each said it is an ok course but nothing special. Certainly not worthy of hosting a US Open, in light of so many better courses in New Jersey. Of course, most of those places don't want the women.

I've never golfed in Florida, but I'll gladly skip courses like this one. Water on or near every hole...what a monotonous, contrived layout...worse than TPC Sawgrass. It's not as bad as it looks. A lot of the water simply doesn't come into play for the better player. LMAO Nice PASSIVE BRAG and a great SLAM directed at Phil....luv it.

They only want the sharp dressed, short skort, panty hose and knee high Korean hawt women playing at their courses.

Unfortunately, Pine Valley is too small for the 130,000 attendants expected for USWO.

Phil do you only like tree lined Golf Courses. We took a seven day golfing vacation to Doral Country Club in Miami. It poured down rain four of the seven days, that we were there. However we did get to play the red, the white and the blue course. The blue course was a really tough course.

Why they struggle to score. Yani Tsing dead last in driving accuracy (158). Time to imitate Ariya and pull out the iron or rescue club. Michelle Wei (153) Belen Mozo (147) not much better.

Phil do you only like tree lined Golf Courses. I prefer tree lined courses for the challenge.....though Bandon is my next bucket list destination track(s)......I'd for sure play Trails to mix it up. I played a links style course last Fri....and had only one shot blocked by a tree....but I pulled such a pathetic shot on the par 3....I had no business being behind that tree...but that's what happens when one's a mental midget. But the cold and wind was brutal....I could get not comfortable on a 100 yd short guarded by water due to the wind....took extra club but fanned it....and proceeded to 3 jack from 45 ft...duh. I'd be really bored as a member of a links style course....unless it has really good reciprocals.

It was interesting listen to Brandel last week noting how pathetic Lydia's driving stat....her "total driving" stat is pathetic.

SoYeonFan In Gee has a solid short game, chipping or putting. However, she is No. 104 in sand saves; what could be the reasons? Dumbo likely doesn't have the experience or creativity (aren't all Koreans robots?) to play from different sand....and the Good Doctor doesn't force her to practice bunker shots for 9+ hours from Mon-Wed during tournament weeks. Combined with lousy putting = a lousy sand save stat. Dumbo is too busy playing Pokemon Go.

It came with the territory of a rookie playing with different kind of sands on different new courses throughout the year. This theory will be proved if she improves to No. 78 on sand saves next year.

We have generally wet hard panned sand here....it is so much easier than the fluffy white sand at some on the Florida courses.
I also hate damp bermuda fairways and rough...common in Florida...I find it so difficult.....one needs to be a picker off that stuff. I'm also not used to it.
Although it is not common here...but more so in the NE...I love hitting off well conditioned bent grass fairways....you can slash a foot long divot while still hitting a flush iron....love it.

I don't know about sand saves, maybe her sand shots just aren't as close. Even if you do hit a great sand shot you still have to make the putt, or maybe its the type of wedge she uses for sand shots. Too many variables. However when you continually drive your ball out of play, you are not going to score.
