IMG Media, which produces the worldwide feed for the Tour's Asian events, has not previously covered the Japan stop either so unless they're doing so going forward expect The Golf Channel to do a studio voice over of the Japanese coverage just as JTBC Golf already does in Korea.

Ayaka Matsumori dropped by the TMAG/Japan HQ in Tokyo this week to be honored for her first JLPGA win. She'll be grouped with Teresa Lu and Kotone Hori on Friday.

GC will have taped delayed coverage...I am shocked... Your right about GC having it on tape delay...that must have been a recent change, because they had no TV coverage listed on the lpga.com website a couple of days ago. I wonder if it will be the same Aussie bunch doing it. "The In Gee Effect" in action. (In Gee kisses her many golden putters)

How do you guys find this stuff? Aside from having numerous "go to" websites discovered and saved in my browser, I have a cheat sheet in MS-Notepad of important and favorite players' names in Korean, Japanese, or Chinese (all three for Mi Hyang and Sharon).

It will be sad when IGC and SHP dump Ping for greener pastures. I like Ping the best of all equipment, but why would they stay with such a cheap company?
It doesn't matter to me, but it is also just a matter of time before wearing logoed clothing advertising alcohol will be banned.
If it was legal to advertise tobacco, Canada would still have a major.

The days of any sizable OEM contracts for the women is over....actually I have no clue why any OEM would sponsor a gal....except for the Asians...many women hardcore fanboys either don't play golf or are very casual golfers at best.....REAL golf ho's don't follow women's golf.
If Dumbo was smart..... she should also join the JLPGA and burn herself out and attract some endorsements....seems like the Japanese will put out....look at the endorsements of BML and Ai-Chan, etc.

This may be In Gee's last tournament in 2016; she hasn't ventured outside of Japan and Korea since her return from Evian on Monday, September 19.
Other than her back injuries; colleges, endorsement contracts and other things seemed to take her mind away from golf.
She hasn't shot better than -3 in four tournaments; which won't win her many tournaments.
But, first thing first, hope she doesn't withdraw.

JLPGA drives a hard bargain; they represent 35 out of 78 players.
It's a tough ticket for LPGA players; Paula Reto who's 67 on CME race is the first alternate.

Remember, In Gee needs a minimum of 70 rounds played to qualify for the Vare trophy. 70 rounds? In Gee may not get there this year.

NYC is no longer playing this one...don't know which LPGAer replaced her. Also, she's not teeing it up in Mexico.

NYC is no longer playing this one...don't know which LPGAer replaced her. Her twitter feed says she'll be looping for Jenny and ironing her outfits. Why don't the Japanese offer a $2M+ purse....this event is always an after thought on the Asian swing.....even mid/low ranked pros can win this event.

Because it doesn't need to, it's a more successful tour if you look at the number of events and sponsors that it has and they're all based in Japan. You can't say that about the LPGA and if it wasn't for the foreign events and sponsors then the LPGA would have a pretty leane schedule.
