The field of 78 has been posted here (43 LPGA + 35 JLPGA): www.mbs.jp/totojc/player.shtmlIt runs Nov. 4 - 6. Dumbo is on the list...for now...so is NYC. This is the first time Lydia Ko is playing this one. Heck, it might be her first pro tournament in Japan. I'm guessing she played in Japan at least once as an amateur. Junko Omote is in this one, so her Ripken-ish tournament streak will still be alive. They played the same golf course from 2006 thru 2015, but they're trying a new one this year. **** As usual, GC will have NO coverage of this one, but there are other ways (Japan time): ♦ MBS / TBS series 28 stations nationwide 11/5 (Saturday) 14:00-15:24 11/6 (Sunday) 15:00-16:54 ♦ CS broadcasting «GAORA SPORTS» 11/4 (Friday) 12:00-15:00 (live), 18:00-21:00 (live recording) 11/5 (Saturday) 8:40-11:00 (live), 20:00-21:28 (live recording) 11/6 (Sunday) 7:25-9:45 (live), 20:00-21:55 (live recording) It's too soon to check the SBS Golf sked for their coverage (if they'll have it).

Both In Gee and Lexi are to make their 2nd Asian Swing appearances; seems too good to be true. Incidentally, both were on Sime Darby's original website list, but both rescinded. Edit: Both In Gee and Lexi are confirmed by LPGA final field. www.lpga.com/tournaments/toto-japan-classic/final-field

Wow...that's a really strong field...looks like many 1st time players...but I'm not buying it....let's wait till the lpga.com list to confirm. If it is accurate....shame on these pros...playing a $1.5M purses and skipping the Chinese events with the largest purses on the Asian swing. I can't stand all this hatred towards the Chinese. Chinese Lives Matter!
GC will have taped delayed coverage...I am shocked...they'll also have some delayed LET coverage too.

If IGC has chronic lower back pain, be prepared for lots of starts and stops over the next ten years. She has already missed a good part of 2016. I hope she is going to a competent doctor.

Woah, In Gee is playing? That I didn't expect. Probably because she was forced to miss Malaysia. I hope she's ready to go at 100%, or she would be better off staying home and resting.
Go In Gee!

It's heart warming to see a strong field for this event. Clearly, many top pros appreciate atmosphere and galleries more than anything else.

This is a tournament I'd certainly attend if it's not 6,000 miles away. In Gee, So Yeon, Bo Mee, Ha Neul, Jessica, Lexi, Paula and Jodi; what more can one ask?

philknj Doesn't JTBC usually carry LPGA in Korea? You might be right about that...if the LPGA is calling the shots, then JTBC Golf will carry it in Korea, not SBS Golf.

Your right about GC having it on tape delay...that must have been a recent change, because they had no TV coverage listed on the lpga.com website a couple of days ago. I wonder if it will be the same Aussie bunch doing it. BTW, the LPGA announced ten more years of hating China: www.lpga.com/news/2016-alisports-and-lpga-reach-new-partnership

You got that right my friend....I see it here in Van City on a daily basis. Yet the unappreciative white folk have all become very rich here due to the Chinese....the average price of a detached home in the City of Vancouver is close to $3M....and capital gains on your principal residence are tax free in Canada. Chinese Lives Matter!

If the field remains as it is right now i expect the LPGA will see it's biggest galleries for the year apart from the events in Canada. I also suspect Toto Japan has paid quite a bit of appearance money for this kind of field.
