What Whan really meant behind closed doors to his top tier mgmt group..... "This will stop the Koreans...what KLPGA pro will take 3 weeks off in the fall where there are a few FAKE majors taking place and also face fines for any defending champs who decide to not defend. Don't worry...I'll still let many players participate during these 3 weeks....this whole qualifying process is worth at least a million to grease our wallets and my superior snake oil sales skills have allowed me to short list 2 sponsors to hand over 7 figures.......after talking with our bean counters....it will allow our leadership team and BoD to pocket $1,000's in dividends from this new sponsorship....and let's nit forget about the money GC will pay us to televise the last 3 rds. But don't worry....to hide this racism against the Koreans...I will be offering honorary LPGA memberships to Sharon, SKY & Smile Candy...hey I want LPGA exposure...... and these sick middle-aged fanboys, like the ones in our BINDER, will pay $1,000's to come out and watch them play. This qualifying playoff series is pure genius and will ensure the BoD renew my contract and yours......... and kick BJ to the curb in his quest for LPGA commish"

"since USGA rules changed to allow amateurs access to the annual qualifier." Can anyone advise? Since when has the USGA had any say in the qualification requisites of LPGA Q School.

Thanks for the link. I don't understand the purpose of the new regulations. I do know if a girl is playing NCAA golf, she'll never be good enough to dominate on the LPGA.

"Simin Feng won the 2015 LPGA Q-School and earned $5,000. If a player competed in all three stages this year, it would cost $5,500 in entry fees alone at tournaments that spread from coast to coast." Unless I have my #'s wrong...it cost $7,000 to play all 3 stages.

How true....too many to name....but top ranked NCAA players who went bust include Paige and Blumenherst to name just a couple of the best past NCAA'ers...and both were able to shell bucks from The Dark Side.

Mannika, Lorena, Gulbis only played one or a couple of years just so they could say they went to college....they didn't graduate....they found out soon enough all their NCAA colleagues were a bunch of jokers and out of their league....without much competition. But no harm no foul...it was free to attend school and a chance to party and do boat races with the frat boys. White girls weren't trained to be robots and they wanted to experience the fun of university.

Lorena and Annika. I still had a full head of hair and a 32" inch waist. Ancient history. I still have my hair but no 32" waist...but I'll still sport a white belt (it's actually reversible to black too) every now and then when playing golf....the Korean women judge you how you look....if you have no fashion sense....there's no invite to play golf with them....but I stop at the flat brim....I see too many old clowns wearing the flat brim...they are posers...trying to be tough and gangsta.

As I've said before....terminate the Symetra tour....many of the 10 grads can't keep their card...the Symetra Tour should be called the Delusional Tour for many players and parents.
If the gal is talented enough...they'll make it through Q school.

Also Grace. She was a better college player than 80% of the current pros.

USGA has the say in who has the amateur status. They changed the rule so that those who fail Q school can retail their amateur status.

But aren't those players entering Q School as Am's...so aren't they still retaining their Am's status during the entire qualification process/duration? Law and Macguire entered as Am's and still are until they decided when and where they declare themselves as pros.
