NYC gets to cash another check. Without full fields and cut lines, the Asian swing is nearly as irrelevant as the NFL's exhibition season. NYC gets the title as an honorary Malaysian Angel this week. As she was an honorary Chinese Invite last week, and an honorary Taiwanese the week before.

I'm watching the first round on YouTube channel GolfCentral.
Whoever they are, they seem to wait a day after a round to post the video.

They didn't re-pair. The Asian Giraffe is doing a Spieth...looking at the hole on shorts putts.
I've been triple fisting it the past few nights, PGA, JTBC stream of LPGA and KLPGA stream.

NYC doesn't want Ariya to be the only gong show...she's +9 over a 5 hole stretch...with 4 doubles in a row...I'm a hack and have never had 4 doubles in a row.
Love hurts...she's really stinging over the break-up....NYC WD from the Toto....but might still travel to keep J. Shin company....maybe she might even loop.

Lydia's largess in the back 9 makes In Gee's job a little be easier on Vare Trophy race.
Going into Toto Japan Classic; Lydia is 5 shots ahead of In Gee. In Gee needs to beat Lydia by 5 shots or better in 3 rounds to stay in the race.

Another POPULAR win for all you ss.com fanboys. I await Happyfan's long and detailed write-up on Jenny Money's win.
IMO....Feng plays with a lot of confidence and more so since her bronze medal. At the 2015 CP CWO....I watched Shanshan for a few holes....I think Charley Hull was playing with her and I wanted to chat with Dave. Shanshan confidently hit her driver while other pros kept their drivers in the bag on those holes I watched.

With the win, ShanShan reentered Rolex Ranking top 10; most likely knocking Sung Hyun Park out of it.

Both So Yeon and Paula had good weekends; Michelle not so much.
So Yeon crossed $1.0 million in 2016 official money; Paula moved to No. 66 to secure her 2017 status.
So Yeon looks good after two mediocre events; paving the way to finish strong for the season.

Great win for Shanshan, almost the identical score of her last win, at Sime Darby. Really great to see So Yeon have a good weekend to get a top five. Hopefully she can finish strong. Kudos to Amy, Anna, Suzann and Azahara for top fives also.
