Don't know if this is a good omen, but Bo Mee Lee's team won the pro-am (-15) on Thursday (pic on left). She'll take next week off in Korea (not playing LPGA Hana Bank), then return for the last six JLPGA events...needs one more win to hit the twenty mark in Japan. The pic on right shows her greeting Misuzu Narita on Wednesday.

What are the odds Bo Mee Lee will lead the money list this year or win the other league titles (scoring average, player of the year)? I have no idea where she sits right now compared to her main competitors...

What are the odds Bo Mee Lee will lead the money list this year or win the other league titles (scoring average, player of the year)? I have no idea where she sits right now compared to her main competitors... BML is currently first in Mercedes Points, Prize Money, and Scoring Average. Unless her game completely collapses, she'll probably win the scoring title...she's a half stroke better than the #2 player, JY Shin. She has a ¥ 24M lead in money over JY Shin, which is not insurmountable if Shin plays great the rest of the way and Bo Mee doesn't. The closest race appears to be in Mercedes Points...Lee has 483.5 while Ritsuko Ryu is 22.5 points behind and three other players have over 400 points. ****** The first round should have started almost an hour ago, but there are no scores at all on the jlpga scoreboard...they're not even showing the player names. Maybe they are having a fog delay...they posted a note about decreased spectator parking due to muddy conditions from recent storms.

The course is a mess and more rain might arrive later, so they decided to shorten this one to 36 holes. Play was supposed to resume at 11 AM local time. The leaders have only nine holes to play today. Tomei CC, about 60 miles SW of Tokyo

I like Big Mama because she gave the LPGA a giant middle finger. Our loss not hers.

I like Big Mama because she gave the LPGA a giant middle finger. Our loss not hers. She has done the same to people who said she should check into a Korean "workshop" for "refurbishing", in order to get more endorsements...win #22 RANK PLAYER SCORE 1R 2R TOTAL PRIZE 優勝 Sun-Ju Ahn -6 69 69 138 ¥12,150,000 (One-hole play-off at par-5 18th) 2 Bo-Mee Lee -6 70 68 138 ¥6,075,000 3 Hiroko Fukushima -5 68 71 139 ¥4,725,000 4T Rie Tsuji -4 71 69 140 ¥3,712,500 4T @nasa Hataoka -4 69 71 140 ¥0 4T Hee-Kyung Bae -4 68 72 140 ¥3,712,500 7T Kana Nagai -3 73 68 141 ¥2,227,500 7T Ayaka Matsumori -3 71 70 141 ¥2,227,500 7T @minami Katsu -3 70 71 141 ¥0 7T Ritsuko Ryu -3 69 72 141 ¥2,227,500 7T Ai Suzuki -3 68 73 141 ¥2,227,500 Bo Mee stopped the bleeding regarding her tour rankings. Afterward, she changed into fancy street clothes and handed out autographed "badges"...hard to see what they are...probably related to the Catholic church. Nasa Hataoka (good swing) was low am I'm sure this was planned...Na Ri Lee and Hiroko Fukushima Ayaka Matsumori and O Sattaya w/ lame OnOff cap (I prefer the ones with the word OnOff spelled out)

I like Big Mama because she gave the LPGA a giant middle finger. Our loss not hers. IMO...it is inappropriate that Ahn is called Big Mama....the only TRUE Big Momma is Joanne Carner. Just like no one else will be the KING....nuff said.
