Although it's one week before a major and the total purse is "only" ¥70M, most of the big names will play this one. Since Dunlop includes Srixon, XXIO, and Cleveland, that should bring in a lot of staffers. SBS Golf will not carry it. Here's a Google translated TV sked for Japan: Terrestrial (planned) September 23 (Friday) 15:50 to 17:53 (Miyagiterebi) September 24 (Sat) 13:30 to 15:25 (Miyagiterebi / live) September 25 (Sun) 15:00 to 16:25 (NTV 23 stations net) [CS broadcasting (scheduled) ■ Nippon Television NEWS24 September 24 (Saturday) 7:30 to 10:30 (1st hole live broadcast), 12:30 to 13:30 (live) September 25 (Sun) 7:30 to 9:30 (1st hole live coverage) ■ day Terejitasu (VTR) September 23 (Fri.) 23: 00 ~ 25: 00 September 24 (Sat) 23: 45 ~ 25: 45 September 25 (Sun) 23: 00-25: 00 I have a link for NTV that works: vaughnlive.tv/sherming11

This event is well-timed for Dunlop, as Srixon has new product releases this week. Dunlop's stuff is everywhere... ...on the range with Sakura Yokomine and Yumiko Yoshida. That's a lot of Z-Stars Kotono Kozuma and Serena Aoki were two of six players visiting Miyazaki Children's Hospital Aoki experimented with lefty putting earlier in the day.

Phil, did Bo Mee ever finish outside top 10 in 2 consecutive JLPGA events in the last 2 years? Aside from 2016, it also happened once last year...her 2nd and 3rd tournaments (T-18 & T-12).

Did JY Shin fire her ammo too soon? She usually slams the lid on everyone in the last round. Ai Suzuki(-3), Sky Kim, and Ji Hee Lee Kotono Kozuma is gunning for her first win on the JLPGA's big tour tomorrow. She has 13 MCs this year...her career-best is 2nd place twice in 2014. A win should get her some golf mag covers. More proof that Japan is in a parallel golf universe (they probably have Mr. Spock with a beard, too)...Kotono is plugging the Cleveland RTX F-Forged wedge, which is not marketed in the U.S.

Bo Mee probably won't win; but a -7 tomorrow will make it respectable.
Hoping to see Bo Mee and In Gee go mano a mano next week.

Thanks for the video.
CORRECTION: I assumed Sun Ju Ahn would be playing the Japan Women's Open. But, I just looked up the field of the OK Savings Bank Pak Se Ri Invitational and she is in it. Jae Eun Chung is also playing in Korea. Maybe Chung didn't qualify for the JWO...however, Ahn would certainly be qualified, but I guess she chose to honor the Queen this week.
