NYC.... yikes! +9 through 8 holes! The bookmakers had her at 200 to 1. Maybe it should have been 2,000 to 1.

Sung Hyun Park at -6 after 14. If she can avoid being paired with Lydia in the final round, she may have a shot at this.

I hope there is bad blood between In Gee and SHP. It makes it so much more interesting. However, they don't seem like the type that have enemies. SHP is the most popular player among the other Korean players and it wouldn't surprise me if Dumbo is just as well liked.

Terminator Jr. is a fraud but so is her predecessor, O'Sullivan. They better stick to the minor leagues for now.

Round 1 Well, I don't think I could have scripted that one better! I woke up this morning and watched the early morning coverage, since most of my faves were in that wave. I must have seen more coverage of In Gee and So Yeon than I get in three normal tournaments! Immediately I notice In Gee near the top of the leaderboard, and she went from strength to strength. Even when she hit it in the rough, like she did on the one par 5, she managed to gouge it out and give herself a birdie putt. And even when she was a bit of distance from the hole, like on 9, she still made the long birdie. Sweeeeet. For those who wonder why In Gee suddenly played this course well, my question is why hasn't she played it well before this? This is the ideal course for her game in my opinion. And she has scored in the 60s in 7 of her past 8 rounds coming in. It's way too early to get too excited, but In Gee's goal now should be to make sure she shoots another round in the 60s tomorrow. Stay in the lead or near it going into the weekend. The real surprise to me was Annie Park. I knew she had the talent, but where did that 7 under come from? It would be something if she can follow that up, given her recent history, but let's wait and see. Not only was So Yeon dynamite today, but man, did she look great in that ensemble she had on. I think she was saving this one for her final bow as the Evian ambassador. (couldn't find the whole ensemble, but these two photos were labeled 'So Yeon Ryu showing off her style') The KLPGA did great! Jin Young in the morning, and as I type, Sung Hyun Park just matched In Gee's 63 by birdieing the long par 4 18th. Game on! Sung Hyun is absolutely on fire right now, and she's showing no sign of slowing. She just beat her pairing partner Lexi Thompson by 10 shots after romping over her in Korea a few weeks ago. Incredible stuff. Re: Eun Jeong Seong. Her first ever LPGA event; even Hyo Joo, when she contended in '12, had played on the LPGA a few times before. It seems like none of the amateurs did well; if none make the cut, do they give out a low am trophy? But that was a rare blip on a fabulous day by the Korean Kontingent. Go Sisters!!!!

Perhaps they are friends because they share the secret of turbulator technology!

LUV Dumbo!
Happy....yup...SYR was looking very SWEET in those thigh highs....the Korean gals dominate in the fashion department. Love to see the Asians in the short skorts, pantyhose and knee highs.
Hi all: I've got to deal with some things so won't be able to watch tons and not my usual forum banter.
Looks like this will be a great FAKE major...later.

The Big 3, a group of youngsters that threatened to destroy the LPGA because of their dominance, is a combined, -1. I think they'll do better on Friday.

Yani split with her coach claude harmon III. I like that move. Maybe she's been playing 'golf swing' instead of golf. Too much simulator time trying to find the perfect positions.
