It's the immaturity of the PARENTS that could destroy the kid. Just go ask the player in your avatar. I don't know if Se Ri's parents destroyed her. Perhaps SYSR knows for sure. All that stuff about sleeping in a graveyard and swinging a club barefoot in the snow is pretty bizarre-- it is also made up from what I understand. Se Ri always had a tremendously flawed golf swing that was ultimately destroyed over the years by Leadbetter and guys below him that know even less. It finally caught up with her. By "destroy" , I don't mean her golf game. IMO, it wasn't her injuries or the swing coach. She was simply burnt out. Whether those graveyard story are real or not is beside the point. The fact is her father drilled her hard to be a champion golfer, and she did. As she put it succinctly just recently , "I took care of my golf, but I didn't take care of myself". And she was "unhappy" for most of her adult life because all she did was golf. I don't know about Papa Pak , but it would totally break my heart if I hear my kid say that, especially if I am either directly or indirectly responsible.

Happy Did you use to work for Homeland Security? How the heck did you find this pic in cyberspace. Likely had it in her hand walking back to the locker room to stuff the head cover into a plastic bag...then the evidence was disposed of at O'Hare via CCTV cameras. Ya this picture is right out of the binder.

I had perfect parents and I still ended up with a screw loose. I wish Papa Pak raised me, I'd have a lot more money.

The end of an era on Wednesday...when's the last time M. Wie used a non-Nike driver? Or is that a 3-wood? She teed off early Thursday and has hit one out of five fairways on her first seven holes. *********** The weather forecast on the LET website for the first three days: Thu - Scattered Thunderstorms. High: 22 Low: 16 Fri - Rain. High: 18 Low: 14 Sat - Showers. High: 17 Low: 12

Nice start for a few players. They need to finish 4 or 5 under to have any chance against Lydia later today.

In Gee's round came from nowhere; since her previous best at Evian was 69.
Her round is remarkably similar to the 3rd round at Kingsmill when she shot 62 and -9. Like today, she started from 10th hole and shot -6 on her back 9; the front 9 of the course.
At Kingsmill, she followed it with a +1 final round and fall out of contention.
That has been her challenge this year; to stay ahead after good rounds.

It looks like Ariya's magic carpet ride came to a pause. Her score would only be -1 even if she made par on 18.
It may be the combination of her knees and the hilly course; we'll find out tomorrow.
