Golf5 is like the Golfsmith of Japan (but with a much brighter future, I assume). It's a small money event starting Friday, but Bo Mee Lee will be there as defending champ.
Translated Japan broadcasts:
♦ BS Japan 9/3 (Saturday) 16:00-17:30 (planned) 9/4 (Sunday) 15:30-17:30 (planned)
♦ CS golf network "through one hole. "LIVE." 9/3 (Saturday) 7:00-10:15 9/4 (Sunday) 7:30-10:00 "Playback." 9/3 (Saturday) 13:30-16:00 9/4 (Sunday) 12:30-15:00
SBS Golf will have Rounds 2 & 3 at 5 PM (Korea time) on Sat. & Sun.

Thursday prep...not the best field, since there's a major next week, so Bo Mee Lee has a great chance to win.

After Round One, Junko Omote and her caddy/husband celebrated playing in 200 consecutive JLPGA tournaments. ******* The last three holes of this course looked like a veiled rip-off of TPC Sawgrass...island green at #17 (playing 157 yards in Round Two!), #16 par-4 is right-to-left with water down the left side (like Sawgrass #18), and the par-4 18th has water down the right side (Sawgrass must have a hole like that). RANK PLAYER SCORE TODAY 1R 2R 3R TOTAL 1T Ai Suzuki -9 -4 67 68 135 1T Lala Anai -9 -3 66 69 135 1T Jiyai Shin -9 -2 65 70 135 4 Bo-Mee Lee -8 -4 68 68 136 5 Erina Hara -6 -7 73 65 138 6 Na-Ri Lee -5 -4 71 68 139 7 Junko Omote -4 -3 71 69 140 8T Yukari Nishiyama -3 -1 70 71 141 8T Mayu Hattori -3 -1 70 71 141 8T Pei-Ying Tsai -3 0 69 72 141 11T Yoko Maeda -2 -4 74 68 142 11T Kotono Kozuma -2 +1 69 73 142 11T Misuzu Narita -2 +1 69 73 142 11T Akane Yoshino -2 +1 69 73 142 Bo Mee Lee missed a lot of fairways and greens on the last six holes and still parred all of them...including #17. The Golf5 Team...Kolwin is another house brand...the kissmark logo is too cheesy. The all-Japanese group above snubbed another Golf5 staffer, Na Ri Lee...Korean Lives Matter! Mayu Hattori and Kotono Kozuma(-2) Saki Nagamine...the F2 on her cap represents the 2nd generation of TMAG's Gloire F product line, which will be available next month.
