Congratulations to the LPGA: 342 scrubs completed Round One yesterday...multiply that by $2,500 and you get $855,000. ![(:))](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/ninja.png) All players are permitted motorized carts...they don't want anyone dropping dead in the desert. In addition, there were five WDs...don't know if they get any of their money back. I don't know if they started their rounds or dropped out before beginning. There is a draconian "88" rule in effect...I assume some of these players were doing some arithmetic extrapolation with their scorecard mid-round. The top-60 plus ties will have the privilege of plunking down another $3,000 for Stage 2 in October. They are rotating among three golf courses for the first three rounds: Mission Hills CC: Dinah Shore course Mission Hills CC: Arnold Palmer course Westin Mission Hills Resort: Gary Player course There's a cut after Round Three and the Dinah is used for the last round. I know the Dinah course has been thoroughly denigrated on this site. Anyone have a scouting report on the other two courses? Many of these gals have no chance of making a living on the LPGA...yet continue to spend Daddy's money.

Big Break winner Kim Welch is still out there trying. She is too old to try and compete with these young golfers. A while back I thought that she would have a chance to make it. But now I think her dream to make the LPGA, is just a dream.

Yes....Kim like many, many others including many on the Symetra are living a Pipe Dream....I wonder what has happened to Mark Burk?

If that is The Angela Park, she is bad enough to join Baker-Finch and give SYR some lessons.

I see the 2014 Junior Amateur winner Princess Superal is in the tournament. It was a great final that ended in overtime. AS I recall she birdied the eighteenth hole to square the match.

Angela Park 246. Doesn't seem possible. I bet her swing is still buttery smooth.

Princess Superal LPGA rookie 2017. Book it. LMAO fanofseri's crack pipe is sure making it's rounds to day. PS is the 125th ranked Am. 2017 will be a weak ROY race....the Terminator, Junior and Choi aren't coming. The ROY might be one of the current top 3 Am's of Maguire, Law or Hannah......I' only expect maybe 1 or 2 only to get their 2017 LPGA exempt card....I don't think any will be a LPGA premier pro. These 3 have not light it up like recent past Am stars....Ko, Ariya, Minjee and Brooke. Are there any other top 2017 ROY candidates that are missing from the discussion?

"Atta girl" to the 92 ladies who will drop another $3,000 each to play against MUCH better opposition in Stage 2. Why stop at top 90. Whan is a dolt.....make the number top 150...he's missing a $180,000 opportunity to grease his own pocket....duh.
