I didn't realize Danielle will be 24 this October, how time flies!
I still remember that 17 years old who beat a fellow 17 years old Jessica during that famous 2010 US Women's Amateur; both fathers were on the bags.
I can't help but to think how Danielle's career would be different if her dad is still alive. But, she needs to suck it up and perform, time waits for no one.

Phil...are you OK or are you still crying? I told you MHL would come up short. Her loop was very smart to show up, keep up and most importantly .........SHUT UP. That was a bad shove on her birdie attempt on 18. As Johnny says...when a putt counts most are missed right. I think under pressure...most forget to release the putter head. I sometimes question the yardages on the LPGA....do you really believe MHL hit her drive 300 yards on 18? I was thinking the same thing. I don't know if the hole is dead down hill. Even then if she hit her drive three hundred yards. She will still have 255 yards to the green. There were too many players able to hit the green or come close.

That's when I became a huge fan of both of them. Not only because of how they played, also the way they carried themselves. During and after the tournament. They are still young enough to figure it out.

Just one more thought. Mi Myang did fight her way back for second place tie, after the double bogey.

Great line. If you don't mind I think I'll steal it and use it on my next blog. Don't mind at all.

MHL seems like a drama queen.... Get me a plunger, quick...some foul air from Van City is stinking up the joint. Mi Hyang is great... 3. ...and mr3putt is NOT! Afterward, the host of Golf Central, Ryan something or other, showed the replay of MHL's putt at #18 and referred to her "H.M. Lee". LMAO. If MHL is so great....then why when I said that Phil from NJ says hi at the 2015 CWO....MHL look right through the Smiling Buddha as if he had a hole in his head....she made no acknowledgement or reply. Ya....Golf Central also referred to HJK as HJ Kim....lmao.

There were too many players able to hit the green or come close. The 16th par 5 hole looked downhill off the tee...then up hill to the green....to reach that hole at 555 yds in two....kinda seems unbelievable. For MHL to smoke a drive of 300 yds....it seems like her SS would have to be 115 MPH...that's kinda silly for such a small pro like MHL. See chart below. www.golfwrx.com/64715/carry-distance-vs-swing-speed-chart/

If we are to believe MHL had 128 in after her drive on 18, as they told us, then according to Google Earth they would have had to have been teeing off in the back 1/3 of the tee box they were using which they weren't. It looked like they were well inside the front 1/3 which would have made MHL's drive around 285, still a pretty good poke but not 300+.. I think the LPGA does that all the time on the non-measured holes, they quote numbers based on the scorecard yardage for the tee box rather than from where they actually tee off. That tee box on the 18th is the best part of 30yds long

I read an article this event had 71,500 fans...what a lie...IMO...maybe 25,000 tops showed up all week. Safeway was pulling out and spent a minimal amt for infrastructure build...many things were missing....at the height....the Safeway Classic was one of the MOST enjoyable LPGA event one could attend.

I'll walk off MHL's drive on No. 2 at Nabisco. The 2 holes plus practice I saw this year showed her distance per pound at top 10% to 20% of players. Easy.

The par-4 13th is one of the drive measuring holes at the Seaview and the volunteer said Mi Hyang drove it 264 during Round One this year. There is no elevation change between the tee box and the landing area. She hasn't figured out the greens on that course...best score there is 68...but maybe next year...

Very nice young lady. Yes great comeback from the double but man that last putt was god-awful. I think these Golf Central guys are afraid of mispronunciations of their names so they opt for the initials. Not to mention all the dopes that spell her name wrong, like Moi!

The Solheim twitter feed is really putting out the SPAM tweets as the Ryder Cup approaches. My ad-man psychology tells me they want people to link Ryder and Solheim in their neurological networking.
Anyway back to their tweets, they keep showing the "old guard" players. Wie, Creamer, MPress over and over. Well none of them would be on the team today. They should get real and focus on the new players now on the team MO MARTIN!!! and the up and comers on the bubble.
