There should have been a 5 way playoff.....a lot of gagging by many and so many missed putts.
Hmmmm....when the real pressure is on we.....see how Ariya goes back to her old mental midget ways. I'd love to see Ariya and Ko head into a final rd tied.
I can't believe Ariya didn't hit a provisional on 18....that was so lame and pathetic to make MHL and HJK wait went an event is on the line.

Phil...are you OK or are you still crying? I told you MHL would come up short. Her loop was very smart to show up, keep up and most importantly .........SHUT UP.
That was a bad shove on her birdie attempt on 18. As Johnny says...when a putt counts most are missed right. I think under pressure...most forget to release the putter head.
I sometimes question the yardages on the LPGA....do you really believe MHL hit her drive 300 yards on 18?

That area on 13th with all the divots was disgusting....the caddies are lazy....too often we see them not fix the divots. I can guarantee that area doesn't look like that when the members are playing it.
One of my huge pet peeves are unrepaired divots and ball marks on the greens. The Tiger effect has brought out a lot of CLOWNS onto the course with absolutely no etiquette or care for the course. Ya never saw this sh*t much when I played in the 60's, 70's and 80's.

Mi Hyang and Hyo Joo could only make a combined minus one between the both of them. In my books...that's called major CHOKING. In your book everything counts as choking.

Round 4 Congratulations to Caroline Masson for her win, but I have to say that it was a huge surprise. Nothing she has done this year made me think she was about to capture a win, let alone against a field as stacked as this one. There was never a point until the very end where she looked likely to get the trophy. Amazingly, In Gee had a chance to win this one; why couldn't Jutanugarn have played like this last week when In Gee was in better position to take advantage? I figured one of the ladies ahead of Dumbo was going to go low, making it all but impossible for her to grab the win. Turns out that didn't happen, but In Gee picked a poor time to get out to an ice cold start. In the end, she did rally to a respectable 68, good for another top ten. But she really lost this one with the 75 on day two; a par 72 that day, and she would have been in a playoff on Sunday. All in all, I'm pretty happy with her Canadian sojourn. 7 of her last 8 rounds in the 60s. I would have loved a win, but she's obviously saving it for France, isn't she? Hwaiting! https://www.instagram.com/p/BJ9FINgDGuL Meanwhile, So Yeon Ryu. Oi, now she had a painful day. She puts herself into an ideal position to make a run and take the title, and instead of kicking it into the next gear, she doubles on 13. Hyo Joo never really gelled on Sunday, but given how rarely she has been in the hunt of late, I'm not that surprised. It's just nice to see her doing something at this point. Hopefully she is on the trail back, because she is way too good to be 19th in the world. Bummed that Mi Hyang or Minjee couldn't close either, but they will keep themselves warm with a sweet $112K check until next time. Sisters Hwaiting!

I think the women were getting trashed after the round. Most of them can't drink in America. Lydia and Minjee had a 1/3 beer each and they we're throwing them on Caro after the win like sorority girls.
Caro seems well liked on tour because people call her Caro.

What does the Australian Brooke Henderson, Minjee Lee, have to do to get the Brooke Henderson treatment from TGC?

What does the Australian Brooke Henderson, Minjee Lee, have to do to get the Brooke Henderson treatment from TGC? Dye her hair blonde and lie about where she comes from?? Nah, you're right, with that accent it'll never work...

Although MHL and MJL tied for 2nd, I thought at one point it was going to be So Yeon Ryu making the run to win it. I am starting to get that same feeling I had watching Jee Young Lee tease us SS fans but never quite get to win #2. Not just that, I thought JYL...if she could have just knocked that second win monkey off her back, I think we might have seen something similar to Ariya with Jee Young. I miss JYL, she could really crush it...again, like Ariya. Similarly, if So Yeon Ryu could just get back into the winner's column for the 4th time on the LPGA, but first since 2014...finish off some of these chances..I think she could go from 4 wins to 8 wins quickly. She is that good. If only she finished even half of her opportunities.

I remember watching Jee Young Lee and Seon Hwa Lee at the State Farm Classic years ago and thinking they were going to be big stars. I think they were rookies the same year? Seon Hwa Lee especially seemed SO athletic, and while she did win several times, never dominated (injuries took a toll I guess). Ariya does remind me of Jee Young Lee - very young, seems shy, and hits it a ton. Maybe Jee Young Lee needed to hook up with the Vision 54 group!

MHL seems like a drama queen.... Get me a plunger, quick...some foul air from Van City is stinking up the joint. Did you see her yucking it up with Hyo Joo Kim during the long wait at the 18th tee? You think Pettersen, Webb, or Lewis would be so jovial in that situation? I'll admit her birdie putt attempt at #18 was putrid, but are facts are facts: 1. Mi Hyang looked great 2. Mi Hyang played great 3. Mi Hyang is great... 3. ...and mr3putt is NOT! ***** MHL is also good at slumming the minor leagues...had a 2nd place last month...while Hee Young Park was T-27 this past weekend. #MEDIOCRE ***** I don't know how believable the LPGA driving stats are. I would review the past USWOs on the USGA website; they owe the LPGA pros nothing. They have the driving stats for all players who made the cut at USWOs going back many years. At Sebonack in 2013, I watched Soo Jin Yang tee it high and let it fly at #2 in Round Two, which had a stiff breeze downrange. The USGA says it went 305 and I can believe that. ***** Afterward, the host of Golf Central, Ryan something or other, showed the replay of MHL's putt at #18 and referred to her "H.M. Lee".
