"There is no Western equivalent to Se Ri Pak, no single person................. Obviously this guy has never heard of GOAT#2...Eldrick...duh....the REAL game changer in the world of golf. Ya never use to see clowns drinking beer, racing around in carts and pretending to play golf prior to TW. It wasn't well written...yes Se Ri likely is the single biggest game changer in women's golf.....but it is TW that has changed far more in the golf environment/industry. If Diana Murphy showed up....maybe more than 17 people would have show up to watch Sherry Pak finish at 18....Winbee had a lot more fanfare on 18 at Sahalee....shame on all the Sherry fanboys not showing up to wish her goodbye. I loved reading about all the Yank racism at the end of the article....all the hatred for the Korean robots...yet Mericans have/had no issues for foreigners like Brooke, Mannika, Webb, Lorena, etc.

Se Ri was never very popular with American fans. Annika, Lorena and Wie always had much larger galleries than Se Ri. That's just the way it goes. When the Office Depot was at the Wilshire Country Club in Koreatown, more Koreans followed Peanut than Se Ri.
Yes, I should have gone to see Se Ri finish but I couldn't control a family illness along with some other excuses. I feel bad that her career limped to a conclusion that lacked fanfare. The same thing happened to Joe Namath, Willie Mays and Henry Aaron. It happens but it doesn't diminish the good times.

I totally agree. She might have her faults on the course, but she is by far the most thoughtful speaker on tour. Once she retires, she will be the lead color commentator for one of the networks. There is a reason so many Korean players idolize her. It is a shame her golf game has hit the skids.

LMAO Cann....this post might be funnier than anything fanofseri has posted....I luv ya.....I spewed my juice onto my laptop in laughter....please make your $500 check payable the The Smiling Buddha. Lewis at the 2013 Reignwood event: "I feel like it was just taken from me," "You’d like to win on a good shot, but, obviously, it wasn’t a good shot. It’s very frustrating," Lewis on Lucy Li who QUALIFIED for the 2014 USWO. "I'm not a big fan of it. But I just -- I like to see kids be successful at every level before they come out here." "So it's kind of -- I don't know. If it was my kid, I wouldn't let her play in the U.S. Open qualifier at 11, but that's just me." I think Lewis should attend the Lydia Ko School of PR.....The Dragon Lady has done a brilliant job.

She's not afraid to speak her mind, PC be damned. She is the one who points out the emperor has no clothes.

Stacy pretending to be friends with Lang right before their hug was funny. "Langer!" Then a 1/2 second hug.

Stacy pretending to be friends with Lang right before their hug was funny. "Langer!" Then a 1/2 second hug. I enjoy watching the players interaction as much as the play itself. When Anna was walking back to the course for the playoff, she gave Lang a high five, snubbed Kerr, stopped and exchanged few words with Bam Bam, snubbed Creamer , exchanged pat on the back with Stacy. If I remember correctly , Juli put Stacy and Lang into the same "pod" under her "pod system" in the last Solheim.

Opposites attract...Icy Anna is pals with the very personable Sandra G and the LOVELY HYP.

I remember reading a story about Ariya first tour win on tour a while ago. It says her sister Moriya was becoming a nervous wreck in the clubhouse watching her little sister leading in the final round on TV. She was going to go to the course and walk with Ariya before Anna stopped her. Anna told her that walking with Ariya would make Ariya even more nervous. The rest, like they say, is history. If Ariya goes on and achieves great things, maybe she has Anna to thank for.
