Mi Hyang is -2 ...but can't find any pix. ******* Regarding Jerry Barber, here's a poor quality video of the 'I Dream of Jeannie' episode he appeared in 50 years ago. Can you figure out what golf course they are at? It's Griffith Park. Barber was the head pro there until he died. His son Tom is the head pro now. If you want to enjoy a six hour round at an LA muni, it is one of the options available. Same architect as LACC and Riviera. Although it is a muni, I think it is Korean only nowadays. If you wanted to see white vs. Asian in the 1980s that was the place to go. Lots of bad blood. If golf is still in the Olympics when LA hosts again it is the likely location. Big remodel will be needed. Thanks I don't remember seeing that before. Phil/fanofseri: You guys know and remember a lot of sh*t. I consider my self an avid golfer having played nearly 5 decades....I think you both are maybe only 5 years older than I.

On another note, have anyone noticed most articles are about Phil Mickelson 63 ties the lowest round in a Major. I guess Hyo Joo Kim's sixty one at Evian Masters doesn't count, in their minds. I'm surprised FIGJAM is still holding on after 2 rds....I was gonna pick him in my golf pool...but bailed at the last minute. They did talk about HJK's 61 at Evian......but not too much...because it's a FAKE major.

To her girlfriend? Im pretty sure she has a gf on instagram. I don't believe the great Tom Abbot specified gender. They would be a cute couple. Finally a Korean that doesn't try to hide everything. Glad Tom didn't try to hide it like it's some bad thing.

Hyo-Joo wants to get married to her gf. Might of proposed I dont know. Probably why she is playing so well. +5500 for Hyo-Joo to win this.

I think Abbott (might have been someone else) said that one of her goals was to get married this year. She was then asked if she had a boyfriend and she said no, but she didn't say she had a gf.

I saw some different Volvik balls at Roger Dunn where it looked like there were no dimples. I guess because of the fluorescent paint job. Do they still make Rextars? They didn't go very far but I liked them because I was a big Faldo fan. Never heard of Rextar's...had to do a Google. My fav ball in the early 70's was the Ram Gene Littler. I liked Ram products as well. When I was on the junior high golf team, every match, we got one Wilson Sam Snead ball--it was a cheap ball. A slight mishit would cause a giant smile. We also each got a $2.00 allowance for lunch/dinner. I remember my father talking about what stuff cost in the 1920's/1930's. Now I sound just like him. One of my uncles was a really good golfer and he played Spalding Dots. He'd give them to me when they were a little ragged. I felt like a million bucks. I also liked MacGregor Tourneys. The first one piece ball I can recall was the Faultless, what a piece of junk.

MHL slipped back with a 72, but will see the weekend. At least one person followed her group: She uses Iomic grips, in case you didn't know. Although she experimented with the Volvik Vibe ball earlier in the week, I assume that's her familiar orange S3 in play. She has switched from FJ shoes to the ECCO BIOM G2 model, the most expensive women's shoes at GolfSmith's website, $239.99.
