Haru Nomura Instead of best player to never win a major on the LPGA it's best player to be below the aWhaness line and get zero media attention.

Mi Hyang is -2 ...but can't find any pix. ******* Regarding Jerry Barber, here's a poor quality video of the 'I Dream of Jeannie' episode he appeared in 50 years ago. Can you figure out what golf course they are at? It's Griffith Park. Barber was the head pro there until he died. His son Tom is the head pro now. If you want to enjoy a six hour round at an LA muni, it is one of the options available. Same architect as LACC and Riviera. Although it is a muni, I think it is Korean only nowadays. If you wanted to see white vs. Asian in the 1980s that was the place to go. Lots of bad blood. If golf is still in the Olympics when LA hosts again it is the likely location. Big remodel will be needed. Thanks I don't remember seeing that before.

Round 1 Great start by Hyo Joo and Mirim! Mirim seems to be gaining momentum over the past few weeks, thanks to her top ten at KPMG and near miss at the US Women's Open. Meanwhile, this course strikes me as a perfect setup for a player like Hyo Joo. Not too long, fairly tight in places, and it really helps to be able to shape your ball. Good putting definitely a plus. With the Olympics pressure finally off her back, will she be able to step up again? Also noticing Ha Na Jang just two back along with Eun Hee Ji, and HYP three back. Lots of fun names in the mix! Korea Hwaiting!

Wasn't it HJK's birthday? Great round. Wonder if she got married yet? She only has 6 months to achieve that goal.

But the most overdue is definitely Amy.

I think the great Tom Abbott said that her biggest wish this year is to get married. It may just be her goofy way to deflect any question on her supposedly "underachieving" in the LPGA. Or since she doesn't speak any English. It could be a case of lost in translation. "getting a major" became "getting married".

My pick for best player to never win a Major is Mi Hyun Kim. Mainly because she won't have a chance to win one.
On another note, have anyone noticed most articles are about Phil Mickelson 63 ties the lowest round in a Major. I guess Hyo Joo Kim's sixty one at Evian Masters doesn't count, in their minds.

The best player to never win a major is Sung Hyun Park, followed by Peanut.

Current one is Amy, career one I agree is Ai.

I saw some different Volvik balls at Roger Dunn where it looked like there were no dimples. I guess because of the fluorescent paint job. Do they still make Rextars? They didn't go very far but I liked them because I was a big Faldo fan. Never heard of Rextar's...had to do a Google. My fav ball in the early 70's was the Ram Gene Littler.
