So I like watching food videos on the YouTube...I also watch Seoul Sister golf videos...not surprisingly, YouTube (and their parent company Google...and their parent company Alphabet) recommended a series of "Korean Girls Try..." and "Koreans Try..."
I don't know if this counts as Asian Entertainment by the guidelines of this section...but they are Asian...and I was entertained.
Korean BBQ is quite delicious. If you have a place near you, give it a try...assuming, of course, the place near you is any good. Anyway, apparently American BBQ is less well known in South Korea. So here is a video of Korean women (they say girls) trying American BBQ for the first time. I found it entertaining because I am always the one in my circle of friends trying to get them to try Asian style food other than Americanized so-called Chinese food from the local corner Chinese Food Restaurant. Some of the reactions the Korean women had remind me of some of my friends trying kimchi or sushi or pad thai for the first time.
Next up is Korean Girls Try American Pizza. What Koreans eat on pizza to me is very unusual. They showed one at the beginning...I'd like to try it next time I go to a Korean restaurant that has it. Anyway, I learned something about American pizza. I didn't know Detroit style pizza was even a thing, despite the half dozen or so times I've been to Detroit (I have family there). Although, in NY, I have had what they describe as Detroit style. And naturally, I have had NY and Chicago style more than I can count.
If you found this at all interesting, I'll post more over time.

1) Korean BBQ is quite delicious. Some of the reactions the Korean women had remind me of some of my friends trying kimchi or sushi or pad thai for the first time. I've seen a few of these videos. 1) It's pretty hard not to like pork belly...kinda similar to not liking bacon....IMO.....I find Korean food kinda bland (other than hot)...and I also find Korean restaurants expensive for what you get. 2) All Asian girls are foodies...never try to take food away from them....lol...Asian female foodies look like the gals in the videos...but Merican female foodies look like this. There's also a big fad in Korea where people donate money and watch people eating....lots of videos on youtube. 3) Merican are meat and potatoes. There was a tax manager from Stamford, CT who came to Toronto to work for a year....a bunch of us went to the corner fake Chinese restaurant for lunch...I couldn't believe this guy had never had Chinese food...not even the fake stuff...the guy was in his 50's I also went to Lexington, KY for a 2 week biz meeting...there were 20 North American attendees....of the group....no one had ever had sushi except for a guy from NYC, Montreal, Seattle and I. The white boy from NYC was hilarious...he could even say a few words in Cantonese when he went for dim sum....lol. The Montreal guy and I took a guy from Cincinnati out one night...he never had Indian food before. Let's face it....a few here had no idea what Dumbo was eating at the Swinging Skirt event...some though she was eating butter patties when in fact they were Xiaolongboa's.

LoL! The only sad part to me is when Western guys get involved with South Korean women in ROK, but then take off back for the States or wherever they are from when she gets pregnant. Saw a news article once about how many mixed race kids end up in orphanages in South Korea. Happy my dad honored his responsibility after his Vietnam tour of duty was over. But a lot of guys did R&R in Thailand. Not every Thai mother and mixed child was so fortunate to have the biological father do the right thing. But this is supposed to be a fun thread. Sorry for my Debbie Downer moment.

Ok...this is a Korean-American woman named Ellen trying a Philly Cheesesteak...but you don't have to watch the whole video...unless you just want to watch a girl eat a sandwich for 21 minutes...this is just the Philly boy in me giving a shout out to what a real Philly cheessteak should be...if you ever go to Philly, skip Pat's and Geno's...unless you just want a tourist experience...there are much better spots...anyway, take a look at the first minute or two...if you go to Philly and your cheesesteak doesn't look something like this, you can do better...yes, it's big...yes, it's messy...and that's 100% the way the best ones are my comment: Born in Thailand..live in NY now, but grew up in Philly (ages 4 thru 17 and 22 through 27)...this is what a Philly Cheesesteak is to me...cheese fully blended and mixed through the meat. No offense to those other famous tourist places, but cheese whiz over top of chopped rib eye...not the same experience as real cheese cooked and blended thoroughly with the meat

CHIMAEK TIME!
I admit I am not a drinker. I've probably imbibed of alcoholic beverages less than 10 times in my life. I haven't had a beer in years. However, I am willing to try Chimaek, fried chicken + maekju (korean for "beer"). I'm quite impressed with the variety of Korean flavors for fried chicken. Anyway, I've posted a lot of "Koreans try...", so how about one where English people try Chimaek? Enjoy!
By the way, the guy who does this YouTube channel, the Korean Englishman, is named Josh. He lived in China for many years attending international school where he was the only non-Korean in his class. So although living in China, he became enamored with Korean culture...and people. In fact, here he is traveling to Australia to propose to his girlfriend, another YouTuber, Gabie Kook.
...and from Gabie's channel

I know that not everyone is a fan of Korean BBQ, but this video of the Korean Englishman in South Korea introducing his friend to Korean BBQ made me want to hop on a plane for Seoul immediately!
Also, it was funny to me that Josh's Korean friend could only understand his English friend's English when he spoke with a fake American accent!
