Teresa Lu will try to capture this one for the third year straight. It starts Friday and SBS Golf will carry the Saturday and Sunday rounds at 5 PM (Korea time). The link below might be showing it at 2 PM on Sat. and at 1:55 PM on Sun. (Japan time). mov3.co/tvasahi/There's also a channel called CS Broadcasting Sky A which will run it at 8 AM (Japan time) for five hours on Sat. and Sun., but I don't have a link for it. The big news is off the course where Chie Arimura announced on her FB page that she's quitting the LPGA and returning to Japan. Her next event is in two weeks at the Suntory Ladies Open Golf Tournament. Her status on the JLPGA tour is up in the air, even though she won 13 times there between 2008 and 2012.

I am glad Chie is returning to Japan. For what ever reason she really never got comfortable over here. I kind checked on her scores on Symetra Tour. She had some good rounds, but not enough to make the jump. Maybe being back home, can give her renewed confidence.

This is good news for the JLPGA that Chie will be coming back to Japan. I expect her to receive a full card next year seeing as she is a former major winner (Japan LPGA Championship)

I expect her to receive a full card next year seeing as she is a former major winner (Japan LPGA Championship) chie arimura won 13 times over a 4year span on the jlpga just before coming to the usa; hopefully she can help watanabe, oyama, ueda, etc... hold back the korean players freight train in the jlpga. at her post round interview after the salonpas tournament ayaka watanabe broke into tears from the weight put on her shoulders for a japan win.

Watanabe's tears had more to do with the fact that the win would have confirmed her Olympic team position for Rio..

Junko Omote jumped plus forty in Rolex Ranking. That should not have counted as an official tournament for ranking purpose.

Junko Omote jumped plus forty in Rolex Ranking. That should not have counted as an official tournament for ranking purpose. the prize money was reduced 75%, to do something similar to the ranking for the entire field would be a mess. haruko nomura will be the lead player for japan Olympic team; the second spot most likely will be mika miyazato, shiho oyama or ayaka watanabe, currently miyazato but too close to call. these four most likely will be the UL International team for japan.
