It is a shame Christie Kerr isn't from Korea, we could have been spared all her nonsense over the years. LMAO

Just saying. Here is a legitimate star player, just need to say two sentences in English, to an English speaking audience. Just wouldn't bother. Meanwhile I was sitting in front of the TV feeling like an idiot. Maybe the successor of Bivens, Mr Whan can change the slogan to "See how we don't give a f out here" (Edit: This is specifically referring to Hyo Joo and Hyo Joo only.) Volvik is a Korean company, right? Perhaps she was simply playing to the sponsor.
These days which title sponsor isn't ? How about speaking both.

Hyo Joo seems to have had more trouble learning English than most of the Sisters. But cut her a break! Learning English is hard if your starter language is Korean. My guess is they grabbed her off the range, shoved a camera in her face, and asked her to say a few words. She didn't have time to compose her thoughts in English, so just said something in Korean. I doubt this was a heavily thought out effort. When Hyo Joo wins again, she will probably speak at least part of her victory speech in English I'm sure. Only in Merica and the LPGA. No one seems to care when El Pato Cabrera or Hideki can't speak a word of English in their interviews. Make Merica Great Again!! FWIW....Fourwaymiss is not a white boy...he's a fellow countryman of the Smiling Buddha.
What are you talking about? I am as white as Tom Abbott, and I speak with a British accent.
Big difference between the LPGA and PGA, the men don't have to fight for sponsor's money and audience.

I am not looking for a discourse on Shakespeare, just a "I am Hyo Joo Kim, and I am from South Korea", which is usually suffice for the GC telecast.
Hyo Joo seems to be a bit quirky and shy. Maybe she is unwilling to speak English without having mastered it first. Unlike her fellow player, aka The Greatest Korean Who Ever Lived. Sei Young Kim, who is bold and unafraid to just wing it.

That's why SYK is called BADA*S and HJK is without a nickname. SYR and Amy don't have nicknames....maybe "CAN'T CLOSE I" and "CAN'T CLOSE II" ....ok...ok....it's a low blow. Good thing the Hulk is gonna play the KPMG....otherwise I want gonna name her...."NO SHOW".

Money is always an issue for anybody, including PGA. Why did they move WGC to Mexico City, money. People ask John D. Rockefeller, one of the richest person in the history of mankind, "how much money is enough?" "Just a little be more," was his answer.

Don't take credit for Cindy's camera work...lol. Do they have a Shoprite food tent with invited food suppliers/vendors? How do you rate Shoprite out of 10. What are 3 great things and 2 do better items? Someone said Gaby Lopez is kinda regal...do you agree? What are your impressions of Gaby?

I like HJK. She seems kinda goofy. It is a shame Christie Kerr isn't from Korea, we could have been spared all her nonsense over the years. If Whan is concerned about the girls speaking English, why not just have actors dub over the Korean language? The guys from Sergio Leone's spaghetti westerns are probably available. What's weird about those movies was, all the sound was added later, even in the original Italian version. So on the set, you'd have American, German, Italian and Spanish actors each speaking their lines in their own languages, only to dub over the appropriate language later. So, sort of like the LPGA, actually!
