golfweek.com/2016/05/16/controversy-plaguing-ha-na-jang-extends-break-lpga-tour/Ha Na Jang won’t play on the LPGA for at least two more weeks, according to a report in the Yonhap News Agency. Jang’s Seoul-based agency said the World No. 9 will miss this week’s Kingsmill Championship as well as the Volvik Championship in Ann Arbor, Mich. Jang has been treated for insomnia and anemia since withdrawing from the LPGA’s Swinging Skirts on April 21. A two-time winner on tour this season, Jang has suffered from blurred vision, dizziness and vomiting since mid-March. That, of course, is around the time the bubbly player became embroiled in controversy after Jang’s father let go of a hard-case piece of luggage on an airport escalator that took out rival In Gee Chun, who was standing below. Chun was forced to withdraw from several events as a result of the incident. Jang was criticized in Korea for her elaborate victory celebration in Singapore in the immediate aftermath. Chun also took issue with what she felt was an inadequate apology. Jang told two American reporters at the JTBC Founders Cup that she was in her room crying every day over the whole ordeal. Apparently it is still taking a toll. She’s currently on the outside looking in of qualifying for the 2016 Olympics. Chun currently occupies the fourth and final spot.

I think Ha Na is going to sit out at least as many events as In Gee missed so it will be fair.

If cannlinny can only start trashing some Yank diva's...then we might become pen pals....but she won't be a real contributor to this site until she tosses in some ' fake' comments into her posts.

It's over...Ha Na is TOAST. She can't even get out of bed and stop crying. And when she does show her face...she won't be the same...especially if she contends again.....I bet she gags coming down the back 9 on Sunday....not concentrating to the task at hand...but thinking about what kind of celebration that won't offend the Koreans. The Koreans have neutered The Hulk. Tiger was one of the toughest mentally inside the ropes...he is also selfish and arrogant....I never thought the scandal would affect him mentally...but he's scarred....and look at Ian Baker Finch....crying in the locker room after a 92 at an Open Championship....he quit competitive golf shortly afterwards.

One of the strangest things I saw at this year's KIA Classic was Ha Na Jang. In the first round, she went off the 10th tee early in the morning with Inbee and Lexi. I only followed them for a few holes but in between shots, Ha Na would put up the hood of her jacket over her head, stick her hands in her pockets, and walk by herself with her head down, not talking with Lexi, Inbee, or even her caddie. She was playing like she didn't want to be seen. In hindsight, it all makes sense now.

I wanted to use that picture of Ha Neul Kim but thought I'd be banned. HNK must have watched Kingpin after the end credits.

Ha Na is skipping the Shoprite too...if she doesn't play the KPMG...we will for sure know she's toast.

Lydia, Lexi, In Gee and even Minjee skip the tournament as well; presumably so they have one extra week to prepare for one of the top two majors.

Is it fair that the Canadian Open is a week after the Open Championship?....the Cdn Open is now a tier 3 event....it would be worse than a Symetra event if not for the committed RBC pros. Maybe Shoprite should do the same as RBC and charter a plane to Seattle so they can get the REAL pros vs. a field with mid range FAKE pros.

Everything has a silver lining; at least HYP is in the field so we don't have to worry Stacy running away with the trophy. By the way, do you know HYP is also an acronym for a less prestigious institution; Harvard-Yale-Princeton.
