This one kicks off Friday. No coverage by SBS Golf, but here's the translated mush from the JLPGA website on local TV coverage:
5/13 (Friday) 9:55-10:55 (RKB) * live 24:52-26: 17 (RKB)
5/14 (Saturday) 15:30-16:54 (RKB, Kyushu-Okinawa JNN series seven network) 16:00-16:54 (TBS, MBS, CBC, HBC, RCC)
5/15 (Sunday) 15:30-16:54 (RKB, JNN series 28 stations Fournet)
I might have a working streaming link for TBS...but, I don't know about RKB, yet.

The current JLPGA money leader PRGR prototype weapon on display...I assume Erina Hara is gaming it, as the caption of her pic says she picked up 10 more yards with a new driver. Kotono Kozuma(79) has high optical utility (aka Eye Candy)...but she is headed for her sixth MC in 2016. Bo Mee Lee Ritsuko Ryu and the downhill par-4 3rd hole.

mov3.co/The above link has the Japanese channel TBS which I will try at 3 AM EST. Maybe it will have an hour of Round Two. Meanwhile, HF's jink on Sky Kim is dragging her down...now T-2 thru nine holes, trails BML by two shots.

Was hoping that Ha-neul Kim would win but alas you can never count out Jiyai Shin. Watched the coverage and am really surprised that Jiyai after basing herself in Japan the last four years or so still can't speak Japanese at all.
As for the gallery attention, i think Ha-neul can definitely overtake Bo-mee in the popularity stakes if she continues to perform so well. Jiyai great golfer but not really attention grabbing crowd favourite if you ask me!

Yeah, Shin speaking Korean...you'd think she could toss out a few canned Japanese golf victory cliches by this time. I hope they don't have vicious Netizens over there like they do in Korea. Yes, Sky's popularity over there is ramping up fast...let's see if multiple golf magazine covers follow. As for Shin in the last group...what can you do...it was like stuffing a Chrysler K-Car into Jay Leno's garage.

I like Shin, especially after she turned her back on Whan, the LPGA and her United States fans. A woman of conviction.
