Madelene Sagstrom is leading the morning wave at -3 thru five holes. Practice round swing: https://www.instagram.com/p/BFAWfQHwnBV She played four years at LSU. Her scoring average was over 73 the first three years, but dropped to 71.48 as a senior (2014-15). She's from Sweden and has a Callaway bag. How long will it take before Annika gloms onto her? She might be an upgrade to Europe's Solheim team already.

Sagstrom(66-67) is totally out-classing this bunch...leads by 7 shots thru two rounds. She'll probably get a battlefield promotion to the big tour before the end of the Symetra season. Mindy Kim(E, T-9) might be showing signs of life...had a Symetra T-5 two weeks ago. Chie Arimura (80-77), go back to Japan before it's too late.

Sagstrom is 24; she would match Annika's feat if she wins US Women's Open this year.

Sagstrom shot "only" 71 on Saturday and increased her lead to nine shots. Sue Kim (who was pleasant to me in a past encounter at the Seaview Bay course) trails by 20 shots.
The Symetra tour is playing in Albany, NY the same week as the LPGA's Shop-Rite, so I guess the Atlantic City pro-ams won't be filled up with Symetra players this year (or at least not the better ones). So, I won't be seeing Sagstrom...unless she's on the "Big" tour by then!
