I guess my taking a flyer on Jacqui Concolino was a bust.
Yani is just done. T115 against this field.
At least Michelle is showing some signs of life.

I think 3Putt is cranky today because Annie Park is having a really good round. Thankfully GIMMEE is not playing otherwise I might be down 4.5 to 4.0 to Happy......but it only counts when both are playing in the same event. |

Round 1 Pretty decent start for many of the top Sisters in the field. Minjee and Annie Park tied for second, but alas both played in the afternoon and we didn't see them on the coverage. I don't want to curse Annie, so I won't get too excited yet, but... go Annie!  Keep an eye on the gals at 2 under. SO Yeon and Chella are both top quality, and MJ is playing well lately. She is a streak player and has won on this course in the past. Not to be ignored! Go Sisters!!!!! |

So Yeon didn't have her usual great ball striking day.
She stayed connected by great lag putting, and making short putts.
Missed the one on seventeen, that happens.
Jessica Korda probably would have played better.
If she didn't wear those awful looking pants.

Memo to Hanule Seo(+16, DFL): there is only one "Sky" playing golf.  I'm glad that Asako Fujimoto made the cut on the Senior Circuit after taking such a long trip to get there and giving up a chance to play the Salonpas Cup. Nice recovery by Mi Hyang...and Saturday is Moving Day! Bea is sporting the PXG Pom Pom Knit Cap (screws not required), which goes for $35 on their website....what's with the hat, I though Alabama was a Southern state. Must have had a real early tee time.  |

Round 2 Way to go So Yeon Ryu!!! Pity we didn't get to see too much of her round today, but you can't argue with a 65. 7 birdies, no mistakes -- nice! Perhaps those putting lessons are starting to pay off? Go So Yeon! We did get to see a lot of Annie and Minjee today. On the 17th, I swear I heard the f-word from Minjee when she hit that drive that looked like it was heading for the drink. Anyone else catch that? Ah well, not a great finish, but only two back for Minjee and three back for Annie. Will be fun to see how they do on the weekend. Go! Then you have Amy and Hyo Joo playing well at 5 under, four back. So the three Sisters in the field with the most to gain, Olympics-wise, are all doing well. Hwaiting!  |

There was a ray of hope for Michelle Wie Thursday when she shot -1, but an even par Friday set her 8 back at T38.
Minjee is the Energizer bunny, not so much for Brooke.
So Yeon can catapult herself into the Olympic picture and within a few tenths of a berth with a win. No matter how you cut and slice it; two of So Yeon, In Gee, Sei Young, Ha Na and Amy won't make it.
