Were they planning on maybe showing In Gee at some point? She's been on the leaderboard all day and I think they showed her once. Meanwhile we saw every fricking shot by Minjee, Lydia and Tavatanakit, and none of them are playing as well as In Gee. Sigh. Hopefully she can keep it up and get into the hunt on the weekend. Hwaiting! Yea that was frustrating as I was looking forward to seeing her myself. I think they showed at the very end. The good news was that I don't think they showed the Paula shot at all! I also though the camera coverage wasn't very good. Had no idea where many of the tee shots landed.

Are the LPGA devoting a lot less coverage or it's just for the overseas Tournaments. They use to jump around with their coverage, now they seem to focus a lot on one group. They could cut down on so many tee shots of one group unless it's significant.
Not worried about seeing more Korean golfers. Because the KLPGA plays next week, and I will be more focused on them anyway.

Remarkable restraint!

Who plugged in Céline Boutier?!?!?
Hye-Jin and Hyo Joo staying within striking distance, holding their own. They even showed them briefly on the broadcast shortly after I tuned in. (Could not resist watching the maize and blue dumpster fire in Piscataway tonight, so enjoyable!)
In Gee treading water; other sisters not doing much. Edit: In Gee going the wrong way. At least Hae Ran is moving up...
Nice to see Sarah Schmelzel having some success...

I'm giving up for tonight. Just what I didn't want; another round of coverage focusing relentlessly on Tanatavakit. I swear, I've seen that chick more in the past three weeks than I've seen In Gee in the past year. I'm not a fan of Grant or Boutier either, so it's real must-miss TV for me tonight.

And how about Ay-a-kee! Wearing a "Fur-oo yellow" skirt today and playing "Fur-oo" solid golf. Her countrywoman Nasa having a good day too...
And they just showed In Gee on 14 on the broadcast!
Brooke and Hannah and Patty T also had good days to reverse their not so good 1st rounds.
Sagstrom continues to wear an "Amy Yang hat," my wife tells me it's called a 'bucket hat' and it's a popular style these days. Maybe it is in some contexts, but on the golf course, visors or baseball/golf style caps predominate. Maybe Amy should wear that style more often; Sagstrom seems to be having a lot of success since she started wearing it...
Céline could run away from everyone this weekend, or she could come back to earth and there's a lot of competitive golfers at this point...

Great back nine of five birdies for Sei Young Kim after even par front nine. Got back to even par after five over par first round.
Hae Ran Ryu four back is accurate off the tee and approach shots. So if her putting is good she has a chance to contend for the lead.
Every time I see her name I wonder if So Yeon is going to play again. She hasn't given any indication of what's she is planning to do.

Round 2 Jin Young and In Gee both had mediocre round 2 results. In Gee seems to really be firing well in her short game but is making too many silly mistakes that cost her needless bogies. She even had an early double that was painful to watch, but congrats on coming back from that. Jin Young actually had a pretty good tee to green result, but had two failed sand saves and didn't make enough birdies to offset the three bogies. Thing is, neither of them are out of it, although they will have to do something a little special to get back into the hunt. Good luck! Hyo Joo was solid as usual and is top Sister, three back. Hae Ran and Hye Jin are just close enough to make some noise after solid second days: four back. Kudos to Sei Young for a 67 to get back into the hunt. Alas, there are no Koreans in the final two groups, which means they will get about zero coverage tomorrow no matter how well they play. So I suspect I won't be watching Saturday, but good luck to the Sisters! Hwaiting!

Mone Inami quit due to an injury (no specifics yet) ... The Yangster scored a two on the par-4 2nd hole in Round Three.
Yuna on Saturday ... I wonder if there are plans to dumb down any of the par-fours this week ... no significant yardage changes during the first two rounds.
