Thanks for these. I almost forgot some of them.
The reason the KLPGA pros don't play the LPGA tour event in Korea is almost certainly because not a whole lot of KLPGA pros are rushing to Q Series AND the fight between SBS Golf and JTBC Golf.

Many thanks. The reason I joined the forum was via an internet search that took me to one of the blogs from a few years ago. Lots of great knowledge and humour to match.

Well, there were four KLPGA pros who earned cards this year, the most we've seen in one year since 2014, so I think there's evidence that there is still interest in coming to the States. If you gave these ladies a chance to play more against international players, more of them would come. That's why I feel we need to reinstate the US Women's Open qualifier in Korea and return the KLPGA players to the field in the BMW.
Just a couple years ago, Hee Jeong Lim lost in a playoff at that event. They can still win it and contend.

Where is MHL (aka The SSQ)? Following a calamitous 2022 q-school, she started the year #189 on the LPGA priority list and finished #67 on CME ... even though she didn't play a single round of official LPGA golf in the months of January, February and May, and just two rounds in March ... couldn't get into the USWO and CME championship, plus had to subject herself to Monday qualifiers and three starts on the $1 $2 hamburger circuit. You had five at-bats ... FIVE underhanded softball tosses by your own design and swung through all of them ... even Bob Uecker would have managed at least one foul tip.
*******
No serious complaints about the fashion department posting ... could have gone on forever ... the only noticeable absentees that came to mind were Se Lin Hyun and Jeong Mi Hwang.

Thanks for reading! Kudos to Mi Hyang Lee, Monday Qualifying is a darn hard way to make a living. I ended up winnowing down the fashion collection because, as always, there were too many great outfits. Jeong Mee Hwang and Se Lin Hyun were in the larger group. Didn't make the cut, but: My favorite Se Lin outfit (from the Korea Women's Open). Nifty pockets in the skirt. Even the socks coordinate: One of my fave Jeong Mee Hwang outfits (final round KG Open)

2022 Yewon had 13 top tens and of course no wins.
2023 13 more top tens.
26 top ten finishes in two years is why, even though she doesn't really like it, this is the Yewon Era.

I would make one small correction for accuracy. The 800,000,000 from Wemix sale is roughly equivalent to the money from her three tour wins not the whole year. You exaggerated a bit.

I wrote that part a few weeks ago when it was worth closer to 1.2 billion. I can modify that, thanks for the feedback.

Completely understand. Not complaining.
I looked at what I wrote and feel a bit foolish. Each win would have been nearly 200. 2*3 is six, not eight. I feel stupid.
Of the 1.4 Yewon won, less than half came from wins.
I guess the correct answer would be the 800m Won gained from selling wemix amounted to approximately four wins on tour.
