I thought it would be a nice idea to collect all the information about KLPGA golfers trying out for other tours for 2024. Here's what I have so far; fill in any info I might have missed.
KLPGA definitely going to LPGA Q-Series: Yu Jin Sung Jung Min Hong Jin Hee Im
KLPGA who have said they are going to Q-Series but I'm not 100% sure: Min Ji Park So Mi Lee
Other possible KLPGA to LPGA (heard rumors) Da Yeon Lee Hee Jeong Lim (with her injuries this is probably not going to happen) Su Ji Kim
KLPGA to JLPGA Definite Ga Eun Song
Did I miss anyone? Any confirmation/denial on any of these?

Ga Eun Song will be another JLPGA player for me to keep an eye on. Although Yui Kawamoto may end up on the Step-Up Tour if she doesn't finish better.

The KLPGA website calls her "A Yeon Yang" ... her JLPGA portrait on Getty calls her "Ahyeon Yang" ... for simplicity, she is now Iron Yang. Going in with momentum, she has three top-10s on the Dream Tour since September.
Danlin Cai of China is also in JLPGA q-school ... had a T-41 at Buick LPGA.

From a recent article:
So, it sounds like she will stay in Korea next season.

Sharon is in Japan for Stage One of JLPGA q-school this week ... she'll be at Site 'A' with Ga Eun Song, Yui, Jennifer Hirano and Her Royal Majesty Princess Mary Superal. There are also sites 'B' and 'C' in use.

They're doing four rounds at each of the three sites for Stage One of JLPGA q-school ... I'm guessing about 20 players from each site will advance to the final stage. Ga Eun Song opened with a 66 and leads by one shot at site 'A'. Someone name JiHye Park (or Ji Hye Park or Hannah Park or Hannah JiHye Park) from Down Under is T-8 with a 71 at site 'A'. Per Google mush, Anne Cine opened with a 74 (T-33) at site 'A'.

You all know this, but for that lone sole who doesn't know.
Yewon will be at the LPGA Hawaii Lotte Open. She will be at the US Open and Evian.
She will probably be working on her distance like Minji.
If you can, go see her.

I mentioned that she was one of the players I had heard rumors about going. It's nice to see them confirmed!

I will start a 2023 JLPGA Q-school Final Stage thread next week. Regarding the prelim stage, I learned that Sites A thru C will have 21, 23 and 23 players that will qualify for the final, respectively (ties broken by the better fourth rounds).
Golf's most thoroughly tested player, Ga Eun Song, is still passing her tests ... leads Site A by two shots at -9 ... Sharon moved up to T-22, while Ji Hye Park dropped down to T-22. Yui is T-8 and Ji Yu Jung is T-29.
Multi-winner Mayu Hattori leads Site B at -6 ... Multi-winner Mamiko Higa is tied for 1st (-4) at Site C.

I don't know, I'm still not sure that Ga Eun really qualifies for the JLPGA. Maybe we need to have her play even more golf...

Ga Eun Song is on track to take her doctorate golf exams next week ... after Round Three of JLPGA prelim q-school, she leads Site A by two strokes at -12. Of the three sites, Site A is the one that has the most "names" ... Sharon (-3) looks good at T-12 and Ji Hye Park (-2) recovered to T-14 ... Yui (-4) looks good, while Ji Yu Jung (+7, T-45) is going nowhere ... ditto for her Royal Majesty Princess Mary Superal (+7, T-45).

Ji Yu Jung couldn't keep her card in Korea, either. Oh well, best of luck to her to land somewhere!
