Great honor for Inbee: she was selected over several other top Olympic athletes from Korea to be the Korean representative on the IOC Athlete's Commission.

Korea will now send her name to the IOC for consideration. Next year's IOC Athletes' Commission elections will elect four new members from those names submitted. Good luck Inbee!
(I wonder if this is pretty much a tacit announcement that she is retiring? Stay tuned...)
