Is Ina Yoon playing in a minor league men's tour in America, and doing well? The tour is literally called the Minor League Golf Tour. LOL. It is a male tour, with Ina as the only woman. I assume she is getting a shorter tee to play from, but no idea; with her length, anything is possible. Anyways, here is the player page for her: MLGT Ina Yoon player pageSo, the $64 question: is this THE Ina Yoon or just another woman with the same name? As you can see, Ina has notched top tens in five of her last six events, including a playoff loss. She is giving away all her winnings to charity, consistent with a player who has earned a ton of money and doesn't need pocket change. I can't tell from the photo if it's her. She doesn't have a Hite cap, although that might be because she was wearing that bucket hat when they asked her to pose. The web page claims she is from Florida, and turned pro in 2022, not 2021, but it wouldn't surprise me if the intern who mocked that page up doesn't know the facts. I would lean towards it not being her, but there is an actual tweet from someone (a journalist?) claiming that this Ina Yoon was suspended from the Korean Tour for alleged cheating. Does he know for sure (is he an insider?) or did he look her up, find seoulsisters.com and assume it was the same woman? linkAnyways, she's playing again this week, so stay tuned and see if she can get a win!

This photo is from yesterday. Hite cap, long braid. Yup, it's Ina! Last week: This is yet another completely bizarre turn in the story of this woman. Of all the things she could have done, why is she playing on an obscure Men's golf tour in Florida? Why not the Cactus league? Did she get blowback from the cheating scandal that's preventing her from doing anything else? Or is this just a stopgap until she gets onto a real league? There's nothing on her Instagram or any of her fan pages about this. Wild. Even her big fans in Korea seem to be in the dark.

After taking a couple of months off, she's back to playing on this tour again. Today she shot a 63 and has taken the lead in the event. June 12th summaryGood luck to her and all, but... man, I hope she finds somewhere real to play soon.

She shot a second round 72 and ended up finishing tied for 5th. As usual, donated her prize to girls golf. Meanwhile, you can buy an Ina Yoon T-shirt... in English. I never cease to be amazed at the weird twists and turns of this lady's life! Ina Yoon T-shirt

If Rose Zhang ever stops her macrame projects or walking her dog or other "newsworthy" events, and Beth Ann gets desperate for a story, Ina might appeal to her. Ina's situation has two things that really would appeal to her: 1. a Korean busted for cheating and 2. a gal taking on men. Plus she's a long hitter, and given Beth Ann's infatuation with Fassi, that might not hurt, either!

I am still blaming Jennifer Kupcho for not winning that Tournament, If she had played like she was supposed to, there would not be all this Zhang hype. After all she won shooting two over par and won the play off with a par. Hae wan Ryu also should have finished better she could have won. Don't get me wrong Rose had a great Amateur Career and she may have a great Pro Career. However she has also been kind of lucky, she won the US Amateur when Gabriele Ruffels missed a three-foot putt by hitting it too hard. She won the NCAA individual by shooting even par because Catherene Park shot three over. The same Catheren Park that set a course record the first round

Ina's latest effort in Florida this week saw her finish t-2nd, but a ways behind the winner. $1200 more for girls' golf. Her fans have started posting clips that look like they are from Florida. Below she whacks a good one: https://www.instagram.com/p/Cu6dKuZgJiV Here we see her goofing around on the range. That's one heck of an upside-down leftie iron shot she has: https://www.instagram.com/p/Cu1CX64uIn1

That's impressive, but also impressive is that she has finished in the top 5 in the last six events, including two runner ups and three thirds. Yeah, these fields are not large, something like 30 players, but that's still cool. Her worst finish ever was a t-15th. Her worst finish since late March is a t-6th.
Still hasn't won yet, though. Would think she'd get one just from luck, but there always seems to be one or two players who pip her.
(of course, the fact she's here playing this rinky dink tour instead of drumming her competition in Korea is always depressing, but I'm still hopeful that she will get a commuted sentence sometime soon, hopefully before the end of 2023).
