In Gee rises to the occasion in tough events, though. She was the MVP last time. Ok I was kind of upset about someone ranked lower than Min Ji Park could be picked, yes In Gee deserve to be there. To me knowing that you played your way into the field would be a great honor for Min Ji Park. For them to pick someone over her that didn't play their way into the field is disrespectable to Min Ji.

Here are the teams as officially announced today. I'm still not sure this will be the final lineup; it might just be based on the Rolex Rankings. But based on that, here they are! https://www.instagram.com/p/CqlDFbKu3F9 Here is the team! 3 Jin Young Ko 7.25 9 (+1) Hyo Joo Kim 4.68 11 (-2) In Gee Chun 4.40 21 Min Ji Park 2.95 Better luck next time! 25 (-1) Hye Jin Choi 2.80 31 (-1) Sei Young Kim 2.53 40 (-2) Su Ji Kim 2.19 46 Hae Ran Ryu 1.93 48 (-5) Yewon Lee 1.92 50 (-6) Eun Hee Ji 1.90

Even thou Min Ji qualified I thought it was unlikely that she would play. Because a KLPGA Major is before it and her Sponsor Tournament the NH Investment is after it. Which she can go for a three peat because she is two-time defending champion.

They should be honest and just call this event The International LPGA Crown ... Min Ji Park is not the only foreign tour player turning her nose up on this one. Haruka Morita and Ting Ting said no to China ... Miyuu Yamashita and Chairwoman Mao said no to Japan.
Good news for Sweden: Linn Grant is on the roster. I guess someone pulled some strings allowing her to timely re-enter the U.S. as a human being, and not as a stowaway or criminal.
