Teresa Lu birdied #1 and is tied for first with Chie Arimura. They have a great threesome out there with Oyama, Nagai and Katsu...all are under-par for the day thru six holes.
BML and Big Mama Ahn are way behind....at this moment, they probably don't care.

Jiyai Shin is moving up the Leaderboard, minus seven through fifteen holes. Two off the lead at minus twelve. So Sun Ju should be concerned.

Looks like this one is over also.
Minami Katsu just made birdie on seventeen for a four stroke lead. Rei Matsuda just missed her eagle putt to go sixteen under.
Jiyai failed to get up and down for par on eighteen finished minus thirteen.

Ugh, instead of a barn burner, Minami Katsu burned down the barn with everyone else in it...and that was BEFORE the broadcast started. But, I'm glad she won...and she can accept the money this time.

IN TROUBLE?
59 Hae Rym Kim (for whatever reason, played only 19 of 37 events)
83 Bo Mee Lee (her 2016 money championship gave her a full 3-year exemption thru the 2019 season)
Poor quality video of Round Four...at 1:16:23 Saiki Fujita is devastated following her MC on Friday:
Big Mama Ahn (-8) clinched the money title for the 4th time in nine seasons...she has never been worse than 10th on the list.
Bo Mee Lee (-2) and Misuzu Narita
Low am Nanako Ueno and the customary traditional mandatory divot fill bag
Ai Suzuki (Even, 55th place) played so poorly that her low scoring average crown may be in jeopardy next week
Serena Aoki (-9)
Mamiko Higa still stuck in 3rd place for POY points
Yuki Ichinose (-11) can skip the rest of q-school...I don't know if Ayaka Watanabe (-4) will do the same
Teresa Lu (-8) and Rei Matsuda (the bridesmaid again)

Ai Suzuki started out so hot the beginning of the season. Looked like the season ending awards would surely include her. But after the injury she never returned to her earlier great golf.
Jiyai Shin has lost her "Final Round Queen" image. She haven't lived up to the name lately.

My favorite photo that features Minami and the others of the "Golden Generation". . .You should recognize them all. . .

I sure hope Ha Neul can get at least one win this season. I had some dim hope after that 64. Oh well, hopefully she'll mount a comeback next year.

I have a 2018 JLPGA Wall Calendar that has Bo Mee and Ha Neul on different months. . .I sorta doubt that the 2019 edition will use them or others that have slid badly like Watanabe and Ryu. . .I'm hoping that at least three of the above youngsters will be on it. . .I couild be wrong as Bo Mee and Ha Neul are still popular in Japan. . .
