She already won like 5 majors by then. I'd be having a peek at the KLPGA scoring average and winner circle ahead of the US majors if I were a women's pro golf reporter. Seriously! It's always amazing to me how little work these reporters do before the event. How can you not know who the top KLPGA players in the field are, given how often at least one of them contends or wins?

Please, Ron... Lexi had one good tournament, on a course tailor-made for her game, so of course she's ready to be #1 in the world? Oh brother... Not sure what you mean by "tailored made for her game". LT has won on other courses I believe. I think it's more interesting that she won in Florida in front of a hometown crowd in a year where In Gee won in Korea, Georgia in the UK, and BH in Canada. The fans can bring out the best in a player, no? Lexi isn't the most accurate player. Put her on a course with generous fairways and lots of chances to reach par fives in two and she tends to excel. Even if she makes mistakes, she can get the strokes back on those drivable holes. The ANA, for instance, is a typical bombers course most years. But the years when they grow out the rough a little are the most interesting, because then you might get an accurate plunker like Inbee Park winning, and it doesn't completely eliminate the bombers, either.
