ABC coverage was truly horrendous today. Can you imagine the season-ending tournament on the PGA Tour/European Tour not starting on the final day until the players are on the back-nine? ABC could care less about LPGA; they did it because they had to. CBS and NBC are preoccupied with PGA Tour; Fox is the odd man out. Fox may want to do LPGA in addition to US Open/USGA, to benefit from the economy of scale.

I think it's clear that there needs to be an overhaul of LPGA coverage. If no broadcaster wants the LPGA then I would like to just keep the Golf Channel team and send it on digital platforms, extending the broadcast times.
I may be wrong but I think only the US Open, British Open and Evian this year had full coverage on the final day, from first tee of the final group to the 18th green. That needs to be the same but for every tournament.

Women's British Open and Evian were easy for The Golf Channel to handle because of the time zone. There're no PGA tour, PGA Champion or Web.com to contend with during early hours of the day.

Even though In Gee had a win, KEB Hana Bank no less; 2018 is her worst year since joining LPGA in 2016.
The down trend continues with no light at the end of the tunnel; her driving distance goes down week after week.
She shouldn't play if her physical condition doesn't allow. There're no excuses once a player enters a tournament.
The KEB win buys her another year to prove herself; she should retire if she isn't on her path to 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Really good tournament for So Yeon all four days. Too bad the birdie putt lip out on eighteen caused her a tie for second. Never the less, this is her best finish in quite awhile. I bet Thompson would not have been laughing and talking with Nelly. If Nelly had come from behind to beat her. She would probably have gone into her poor me victim mode. https://www.instagram.com/p/BqTqWganLiY Jin Young probably just got tired. She isn't used to playing this many four round tournaments. Not to mention that she has not had to travel this much. She will come back refreshed next year.

USA matched Korea with nine LPGA wins in 2018; it isn't a turning point for USA, but is it a turning point for Korea?
Korea Women's golf hasn't been a secret for a long time; but have they already peaked?
The number doesn't quite tell the story; they won 14 times in 2015, 10 times in 2016, 15 times in 2017 and 9 times this year.
More telling is Se Ri Pak, Inbee Park and Jiyai Shin are still the only players with more than 10 LPGA wins. Na Yeon Choi won 9 times, In Kyung Kim 7, Sei Young Kim 7 and So Yeon Ryu 6.
In the meanwhile, Lydia Ko has won 15 times, and both Ariya Jutanugarn and Lexi Thompson had 10 wins.
Will Korea win more than 9 times in 2019, we'll see?

Yea! So Yeon kept her streak alive, of never finishing outside the top ten in Scoring Average. This last tournament moved her to number nine. She also still have the streak of a million dollars earned and top ten Money List. Every year since she has been on the LPGA tour. That's called consistent high level playing every year.
Her ten or more top ten streak ended this year with only seven. She can start another streak next year.
