The lady in brown doing the 1st tee interviews is Na Song Shin, a 33-year-old ex-Dream Tour washout...appears a lot on the instructional programs of SBS Golf.

Early in her match, Minjee the Ringer ticked the flagstick with a greenside bunker shot...it continues to be obvious that she will save the LPGA's bulgogi this year.
The ninth green is the big story...the flag is in the middle, but from past the hole, if you don't roll it hard, it rolls back to your feet.
For the record, they are playing about 90 km north of Busan. The overhead shots of the course are fascinating...completely browned out, except for the tee boxes and greens. Wouldn't it be interesting if the LPGA had a Fall tournament under these conditions in North America? It'll never happen in my lifetime.
I wish they had a better mic on D. Kang to hear if she is talking dirty.
The LPGAers got off to a fast start, but they're starting to stumble...and SW Bae was unavailable to play for the KLPGA.
Most of the LPGAers brought their regular tour loopers. MHL left Mozo at home and probably went with a local instead.

Can Team Volvik take one from Lucky 6; you bet. What happened? What did In Gee say to make Jenny cry? Was Jenny speaking Korean in an Australian accent?

Day Two
Another great series of matches. The LPGA extended their lead, but the KLPGA hung tough all day.
LPGA 7.5 KLPGA 4.5
Inbee Park/Jeongeun Lee 5 AS Hye Jin Choi/Seung Hyun Lee Danielle Kang/So Yeon Ryu AS So Young Lee/Cecilia Cho Sung Hyun Park/Minjee Lee 2 & 1 over Ha Na Jang/Da Yeon Lee Lydia Ko/Jennifer Song 3 & 2 over Ji Young Kim/Ji Hyun Kim 2 In Gee Chun/Jenny Shin 1 up over Ji Hyun Kim/Ji Hyun Oh Mi Hyang Lee/Chella Choi lost 4 & 2 to A Lim Kim/Jeong Eun Lee 6
Alas, the stream was virtually unwatchable for me, so I can only infer from the bits and pieces I was able to catch and the articles I have read to fill me in on the rest.
Match 1: Inbee Park/Jeongeun Lee 5 AS Hye Jin Choi/Seung Hyun Lee
KLPGA won the final hole to square the match. Inbee's team was up by as much as 4 at one point.
Match 2: Danielle Kang/So Yeon Ryu AS So Young Lee/Cecilia Cho
This one was a nailbiter all day, but this time it was So Yeon and Danielle who won the final hole to square the match.
Match 3: Sung Hyun Park/Minjee Lee 2 & 1 over Ha Na Jang/Da Yeon Lee
The LPGA led this one pretty much all day, but it was still close in the end.
Match 4: Lydia Ko/Jennifer Song 3 & 2 over Ji Young Kim/Ji Hyun Kim 2
Again, the LPGA led this one all day and easily won.
Match 5: In Gee Chun/Jenny Shin 1 up over Ji Hyun Kim/Ji Hyun Oh
The Ji Hyuns controlled this match until the LPGA squared it on the 14th hole, then went ahead for the first time on 16. Huge win for In Gee and Jenny.
Match 6: Mi Hyang Lee/Chella Choi lost 4 & 2 to A Lim Kim/Jeong Eun Lee 6
Lucky 6 and friend controlled this one all day.

When are where did this happen? A commenter on IG asked about this, too. I watched the last thirty minutes of the replay, along with the SBS Golf Today program, and didn't see anything. Maybe some old ajumma told her off for doing her booty dance on Friday.

This happened at the closing interview after the final hole. The interviewer was talking to both as In Gee said something that got Jenny bawling. . .In Gee of course hugged her and comforted her and finally Jenny was able to speak again through the tears. . . My "What happened" comment was to a reference that stated that the "Volvik" team was ready to take out Lucky 6. It never came close to happening as Lucky 6 and A Lim both had on their giant lucky earmuffs!

awhson In Gee said that she loved jtibs so much and she thought jtibs is the most stylish and beautiful golfer in the world. In Gee continued that she enjoyed playing with jtibs and that they'll team up to win 2019 DOW Great Lakes Bay Invitational. By the way, Team Volvik won't take no for an answer; just wait until the rematch.

I don't know....seems like there is more to it than In Gee just complimenting Jtibs to make her tear up....at one point on back nine, In Gee seemed to give a long stink eye to the gallery after she made a put almost like somebody said something bad in the gallery....maybe I just imagine it.....Jenny was visibly upset when the interview was ending.....Also, so I guess No. 5 must be LPGA and not KLPGA....I just don't remember seeing her do much on LPGA...??

The KLPGA find themselves in a hole, but a win is still possible.
So Yeon redeemed herself by making the birdie putt on eighteen. She missed a short putt on seventeen to go one down.
Ha Na Jang was a total zero for the KLPGA. Good thing she is sitting out, because it would be an easy win for the LPGA.
Still rooting for the KLPGA to some how win the tournament. As long as So Yeon win's her match.
A Lim Kim is slowly becoming one of my favorite golfers. She has such a great personality.

Minjee Lee is like an Energizer Bunny; she keeps going and gets better and better.
She's almost like a new and improved Lydia Ko; although her putting isn't what Lydia used to be.
She's been winning or contending every time out; I wouldn't be surprised if she has multiple wins including majors in 2019 to reach No. 1 in the world.
