This's a great article with many good insights; I know it because I been following Yealimi intensely since February of this year.

Is this Yealimi's final tournament as an amateur?
By the way, USA won 12-1/2 to 11-1/2.

Lucy Li will have to step up to that pro vs. college decision in about twelve months...this one is really hard to guess. She doesn't play wearing any particular school cap or visor, so you might assume that she'll turn pro. But, she must be aware that her lack of distance will weigh her down in the major leagues...can that get fixed by going to college first? At best, she can be an Asian Mo Martin.

My bet is Lucy will bypass colleges. Mo Martin proved in Evian Championship that driving distance is overrated; at least for one tournament or two. What the driving distance buys is margin for errors, especially on par 5's; so it pays off over a long career.

It's official, Yealimi will turn pro after she plays LPGA KEB Hana Bank next week. She needs to remain an amateur to play KEB. She can't play Q-School this year because Stage II is scheduled the same week as KEB. Both Lucky 6 and Yealimi need a win at KEB to qualify for 2019 LPGA; I wouldn't rule out Yealimi's chances. Junior Ryder Cup: U.S. barely retains title, questions remainCelia Barquin Arozamena won’t be the only void at the new Augusta National Women’s Amateur. Yealimi Noh, the favorite for AJGA Player of the Year, confirmed to Amateurgolf.com and Global Golf Post she is turning pro following the LPGA KEB Hana Bank Championship.
