By and large a good first day! Inbee, So Yeon and In Gee all played well, and there are a bunch of other Sisters within 5 shots of the lead. So far so good! Cool that So Yeon and Inbee played together today (and will tomorrow). In Gee Not a great start for Jin Young or Lucky Six, but hopefully they got the crap out their systems and can rally tomorrow. Jin Young has one thing she must achieve. She must beat Hall. She can't keep spotting her all these points like she did at the last Major (or when she skipped Portland). This has not been a great year for the Sisters, but I sure hope JY Ko, one of the few bright spots, can finish off the ROY. And this week is one of the most important towards that goal. Sung Hyooon really crapped it up today, didn't she? Let's see if she has it in her to rally tomorrow. Sisters hwaiting!!!! In Gee MJ Hur Chella Choi Minjee Lee

Did not expect Maria Torres to back up her first round as well as she did. Impressive performance from a rookie on her first ever trip to Europe. The excitement in her interview with Foltzy was infectious. Even Fake Mike Ritz seemed impressed.

A nice 7 feet birdie putt at 9th and In Gee is -1 for the day. She started the day with 2 birdies followed by 2 bogeys.
That’s a monster 2 putt par at 10th. This is the type of tournaments In Gee used to like when birdies and pars don’t come easily.
”Always with her chin up and a smile on her face.”
In Gee putts to have a tap in, not necessarily to drop.
3 putts is inevitable and a bogey at 12th; a bogey In Gee used to avoid.
That’s bad, a 3 wood into deep rough and tree trouble at par 5 13th. Another disappointing par at a par 5.
Slowly, the new In Gee is unveiling. Basically, she has no margins for errors.
”She’s lost yards, not hitting it as close and not making as many birdies.”
This’s shaping up to be another tournament where she makes cut but can’t contend.
She missed a 6 feet birdie putt at par 5 15th.
It’s clear that even though In Gee has the same swings; she’s lost the sparks.
A nice birdie from 5 feet on par 3 16th; missed a 9 feet birdie putt at 17th.
A lay up and a wedge to inside 2 feet for par at 18th.
Today is the best glimpses of In Gee's games; there're no reasons she can't win, it's all in her head.

Amy Olson is impressive; she missed a short birdie putt at par 5 15th, undaunted she made short birdie putts at par 3 16 and 17th. Her approach shots are impeccable.

Lucky 6 is making a run.
Finally, they showed her. They should, she’s -5 today.
A lipped out at 18th.

Hojo Kim on Thursday...aside from the USWO, she hasn't been seen such much this year. I didn't know she switched to the latest cast Yonex Ezone GT irons, which have high-handicapper lofts (PW is 42).

The broadcaster guy said Torres was surrounded by autograph seekers after her 2nd round...and here it is.

Lucky 6 on Wednesday...haven't seen any pix of her since...she is playing her way into the weekend.

Brooke’s putting is getting to her and her ball striking.
Finally a nice 12 footer from off the green to save par at 14th.

Nasa is striking the ball like 2017; her putting keeps her in contention.

Can anyone here play this game? One missed green after another...also lip-read an 'S' bomb by the ECP. The course looks respectable for its difficulty.
CORRECTION: I just found a pic of Lucky Competitor 6 from Friday...

I'll be stunned if GC shows MHL today, who is holding it together at -4 thru 12 holes. She birdied both par-5s on the back nine and will finish later with two more par-5s at #7 and #9.

And, there's Mi Hyang Lee who's never on TV but nonetheless ties for the lead at -8.
Come on, have an interview with Mi Hyang!
Still waiting! Don't forget Mi Hyang is tied with Amy and has 2 LPGA wins.
Can't find Mi Hyang?
Thanks, finally!
