kjt123 For your handicapping tally, both Amy and Marina missed the cut. We'll see how Ariya fare tomorrow! Those two were disappointing. Ariya has surprised me this week. Are you glancing over Mariah Stackhouse, though? T6 and in with a shout.

Round 2
Wow, another totally rotten week in progress for the Koreans. It's hard to believe they have 5 wins; it feels like the two things we see this year are no Koreans on the leaderboard and one Korean on the leaderboard. These bunny courses just are not the strength of the Koreans, although the fact that none of them has done decently is still out of the ordinary.
Inbee's probably losing her #1, too. Sigh.
Ah well, perhaps one or two of them can make a run into the top ten tomorrow.
Sisters Hwaiting!

So Yeon made an early birdie, so I thought that she would start climbing towards the lead. She and Jin Young both hit speed bumps and did nothing, on the back nine. They both have realistic chances for top tens, Jessica needs to up her game, she also needs a great final round.

Not happening re Jessica. She missed the cut. Thanks, I didn't notice that. Now I am really disappointed, would have never expected that. I guess she has missed cuts before, but I just erased it from my mind.

I guess she has missed cuts before, but I just erased it from my mind. She seems to have cooled off a bit since her great start to the season. Her last 5 tournaments have been 19, 17, C, 17, C. Hope she has a good week next week.

Impressive display. 18majors you were an early and unwavering advocate of Nasa doing well on the LPGA Tour, even when some had written her off. Turns out you were right.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BkbEIIbgmDq Great final round for Jin Young Ko, -6 today , minus twelve (top ten). Not a great tournament for So Yeon, but considering it's following a win. Not a bad tournament either, also a tune up for the Major coming up. Good tournament for Jeong Eun5 Lee at minus ten.

In Gee is the only reason I follow LPGA, but Nasa may be the one that will truly shine. She is also the better of the 19 years olds, beating Nelly Korda. At 19, Nasa is the youngest Japanese to win a LPGA title. She is also the only amateur and the youngest to win not one but two Japan Women's Open. She may not be Lydia Ko, but she certainly is the Japanese version of it. She has a long way to go to catch Ayako Okamoto's 17 LPGA titles or to match Ai Miyazato's No. 1 Rolex ranking; but time is on her side. Nasa usually goes from strength to strength; she will certainly contend at KPMG Women's PGA next week.

Nasa is $319,773 ahead of Megan Khang; too bad I don't have either mr3putt or mnmlistgolfr to kick around anymore.

But if she wins either of those two events, I'll switch my avatar back to her.

Will Nasa start to get the Ai Miyazato treatment from Japanese media?
