You know the Japanese broadcasts are far superior to the GC broadcasts when they show a commercial for the Astro Tour VS-1 driver:
*********
A Karis win would be Kool...I love the way she drops the club to inside on the downswing with effortless ease and repeatability...reminds me some of Bea Recari. Her footwork resembles Karrie Webb, which might not be a coincidence.
Another win from Japan's "Golden Generation" would also be cool...Minami Katsu always cuts an attractive and classy look out there and would be a popular winner.

They're starting a playoff now at the par-4 18th now between Minami Katsu and Eri Okayama.
Katsu is in the right fairway with a driver...Okayama found the right bunker with a 3-W.

Eri Okayama wins after Minami Katsu bogies the the play off hole, First win for Okayama Shame about Karis, would have been nice to see an Australian win on the JLPGA - its been almost 10 years.

I can't believe this...as Okayama was setting up to hit her second shot, TV Asahi started rolling the sponsor credit graphics over the screen. Okayama hit the green with her shot, then they cut away to a long series of commercials...yep, the broadcast is OVER!!!! Thanks a lot you clowns.
Fortunately, pix are being posted quickly. Okayama made her putt (I guess) and Katsu found the bunker with her second shot (I guess).
First career win on Japan's big tour.
