www.bbc.com/sport/golf/44046293The 30-year-old Englishwoman told BBC Sport: "The LET needs help and quickly. I've encouraged players to support offers we get in because it's all good fighting a cause but there's not going to be a Tour to play on soon." The LPGA Tour in the United States was reported to be keen to help the LET but the offer was not accepted and that avenue is now closed.

The LPGA Tour in the United States was reported to be keen to help the LET but the offer was not accepted and that avenue is now closed. There're money out there in Europe and around the world, but LET needs a leader like European Tour commissioner Keith Pelly to get it. European Tour had plenty of events; but with purses of $2,000,000 or less. Keith became the commissioner in April 2015 and he's since added many tournaments with purses of $7,000,000 or more. It's clear the current leaders of LET haven't done their jobs.

This might affect the quality of the Solheim cup. The perils of LET are nothing new; they've been in a down spiral for at least 5-6 years. The biggest beneficiary of LET's pitfalls has been Juli Inkster, the Captain for Life.

jumpcutYou keep going back to Cristie Kerr and her winery; is there anything we don't know? Are you a secret admirer of the woman who has it all; fame, fortune, business empire, surrogate motherhood and etc. Or, are you a wine connoisseur by any chance?

jumpcutYou keep going back to Cristie Kerr and her winery; is there anything we don't know? Are you a secret admirer of the woman who has it all; fame, fortune, business empire, surrogate motherhood and etc. Or, are you a wine connoisseur by any chance? Answers to your three questions are no, no and no. To the contrary, I find it distasteful that Kerr and GC shill her wines week in & week out on the broadcasts. How come In Gee's razor sponsor doesn't get free plugs when they discuss her new short hair on TV?
