Last month, a sponsor invite was given to amateur Elsa Diaz, who just completed her senior season at the U. of Richmond, where she had a career scoring average of 78.29. I hope she chooses NOT to burn her parents' net worth by turning pro. She has a few interesting IG postings:
Nice to hear about the team event, but time to beat that dead horse:
Another event in Michigan? How about an event in SEATTLE?? The old Safeco Classic was very well attended, but Seattle has not had a tour event since 1999. Not only is this a large market, but it is very Asian and would doubtless attract even bigger crowds than back then. Get on the stick, Mr. Whan!!!!

Mr. Whan has no money.
Call Mr. Bezos, he can fix your problem in a second.
An odd name appears among the Usual Suspects in next Monday's local qualifier: Sakura Yokomine. She's playing well this week in Japan, so its likely she'll make the cut for Sunday...no way can she get to Virginia in time on Monday. Maybe she submitted her name as a placeholder in case she trunk slammed in Japan. Nevertheless, I don't get it...and she also entered her name for the Volvik qualifier. Huh?! Maybe she misses the LPGA, but let's face it, her day has come and gone over here...she cashed some nice checks early on, but when you bomb out of LPGA q-school with her experience, it's over. Heck, she flopped in Japan's USWO qualifier this week.
Speaking of strange names, the Shop-Rite/Acer qualifier has Maggie Will (age 53), WTH! She's one of Larry the Looper's former employers...maybe this will be his comeback, too.
