In Gee has been 2nd or T2 nine times since she joined LPGA in 2016. who won: 2018 Kingsmill Ariya Jutanugarn 2017 Cambia Portland Stacy Lewis 2017 Manulife Ariya Jutanugarn 2017 Kingsmill Lexi Thompson 2017 Lotte Cristie Kerr 2017 Bank of Hope Anna Nordqvist 2016 Lotte Minjee Lee 2016 ANA Inspiration Lydia Ko 2016 Honda Thailand Lexi Thompson
Ariya twice, Lexi twice; both are great players. Stacy, Cristie, Anna and Lydia are all multiple winners including two majors each.
Minjee is the least accomplished of the bunch but she's clearly an up and comer.
She also finished second at the 2014 KEB Hana Bank, won by Q Baek. I think three of her second-place finishes came in playoffs, including this past weekend (Hana Bank & Manulife were also playoff losses). She's also had several third place finishes where she was right in it until the final hole, where she usually lost because she had to go for birdie on a tricky hole and got bogey instead. It was exciting seeing her in the hunt again after a long wait. I hope this is a sign that she's about to take the next step forward in her career.

HappyFan Actually, I can't wait for USWO to start in 10 days. It's redemption time for In Gee; she missed cut in 2016 and was out of Top 10 in 2017. She wasn't in good form going into both Opens. I'm not crazy enough to say she'll win, but will be shocked if she isn't in Top 10.

hankookilbo.com/v/2ad9db4663884b86a483199f935b6056It is comforting to have achieved the best performance this year. The top ten in the last six contests were poor. Last week, he waited for three weeks after abstaining from the competition because he was not feeling well at the Lotte Championship. "I was happy to have a good game at this tournament after the game," said Jeon In-ji, who gave me the impression that I was confident ahead of the US Women's Open.

Sunday I was at my Mom's for her birthday but I was able to watch some of the round at her place. Steady work from Ariya. Her putt on 15 cracked Judy Rankin up. Me, too. Ariya Just Short
