Congratulation to Jyai Shin. I am surprised that Jeong Eun6 didn't finish the tournament well. She usually is pretty solid when she has the lead. Because she keep her emotions in check just like Inbee. Never too high or too low, thinking through every shot.
Should be World Hall of Fame Yuri Fudoh still grinding. Finished forty forth.

Seems like Lucky Six is upset about her finish to the tournament. She posted a long text blurb to her Instagram, and though I don't understand all of it, I can tell it's mainly about how sad she is that she fell apart at the end. The people commenting are being very supportive, which is cool.
She hasn't really played all that often out of Korea, and this was the first time she had a great chance to win a Major tournament outside the KLPGA. She's not used to being in the 'adversary' position, as she was paired with a top Japanese player who probably got most of the fan support. Not surprising that the seasoned veteran Shin walked off with the trophy here. But it's a learning process. She'll figure out a way to get around the nerves and triumph next time or the time after that. She's too good to let a few setbacks ruin her career.
She's awesome, fast becoming my favorite player on the KLPGA. I'm looking forward to seeing her wonky sideways-putt-reading in the service of a win sometime soon. Lucky Six Hwaiting!

HappyFanI don't follow KLPGA much; but it's easy to see Lucky 6 is different.
