Min Young Lee will defend her first JLPGA win starting on Thursday. As usual, they will have an eight-hour webcam running for every round starting at 8 AM (Japan time) here: www.ylok2018.tv/Regular TV for Saturday and Sunday only (Japan time): CS broadcasting 8: 00 ~ 13: 00 (Sky A) BS Asahi 13: 00 ~ 16: 00 I have no links for the above channels, but it shouldn't matter with the webcam broadcast running.

Didn't Min Young Lee qualify for ANA Inspiration by finishing 2nd on 2017 JLPGA money list?
I guess she doesn't want to forfeit all or part her earning if she doesn't defend her title.

I don't know the JLPGA regulations on this. It's the KLPGA who has the alleged rep for dishing out "punishment" to players who don't defend their championships.

I can't find it; but I read that JLPGA is the same as KLPGA in that regard.

Team Yamaha...the big three are in the middle (L-R): Mami Fukuda (grey jacket), Chie Arimura, and Chae Young Yoon. One notable change is the absence of Kaori Ohe, who defected back to Callaway after three seasons with Yamaha.

Shin Hyun Ahn is a sponsor invite...she used a Yamaha driver in 2016 & 2017...don't know about the rest of the bag. She's grouped with Jae Eun Chung and Megumi Kido the first two days. Crisis in Japan: Momoka Miura fighting off hay fever. That's better Eight Head getting ready

The webcam just kicked in and it's working perfectly. Q: When was the last time Shi Hyun Ahn played in Japan? A: I don't know, but did some research...she last played the LPGA Mizuno Classic in 2009 (T-29). It's possible that she could have been invited to a JLPGA major long ago, but that's too much work to look up. Bad start for Cinderella (+3 after four holes). She started on #10, so we'll get to see her tee off at #1 later in the evening.

My PC just freaked out and restarted on its own...when I re-ran the streaming on Mozilla, it just crawled, so I switched over to MS Edge where it's running well again...I'm doing it with the direct Youtube link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=0USlOacv2wUAll the mornings groups are out there...they've switched to the 14th green...new groups will begin their day at #1 tonight at 10:24 PM EST. The par-4 first green is quite firm...Hae Rym Kim had the shortest 2nd shot with an iron and her ball rolled off the back. Kana Nagai started at #10 and aced #11...she leads at -3 thru five holes.

The Round Two webcam is working here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=bfi9hGjD4tsInstead of setting up at #1 again, they moved it to #10. The last morning group will start at #10 in a few minutes, which will include one of my favorites Weiwei Zhang. Ah Reum Hwang and Karis Davidson

If BML and Sky stumble, then Kana Nagai will be the new queen of Honma....she is like money, you can't get enough of her. Before she teed off at #1 tonight, they handed her an award for her Thursday expoits (1st round leader and/or the ace at #11). She knocked it stiff at #1, leaving an easy birdie attempt, but her stroke was quite stabby and missed it badly...saved par. I hope that opening putt was just early nerves. She is Even on her first thee holes...the webcam has moved to the 5th, so she'll be there soon. ******* Beauty and The Beast...great recovery by Weiwei Zhang (77-69), who will play the weekend. I'm guessing the cut is top-60 plus ties, currently +5.

Now they're showing a replay of all the earlier tee shots at the 10th hole...I like how the cameraman focuses at the ball and clubhead when a player tees up a ball...we gotta see those brands! Unfortunately, the cut away from the par-5 5th hole where Kana Nagai made birdie...now leads by two shots. Even if it's just a small handful of player, I HATE this look! It is ridiculous...usually done by the scrubs and washouts. I've noticed that the top players on this tour NEVER do this.
