If Lexi don't cheat again, no one will have to call in.
Not to mention she also had two other chances to win it anyway.

As we wait for the start of the 2018 season, I would like to look back at what I consider the most memorable moments of 2017. It was a very interesting and exciting past year. There were multiple teenage winners, exciting playoffs, big comebacks, engagements, marriages, and a number of first time winners. I have narrowed it down to 10, although I know there were many more. This list is very subjective, depending on who your favorite golfers are. A top story for me may be one that someone else might want to forget. So in reverse order, here we go: www.tonyslpgareport.com/2017/12/memorable-moments-of-2017-lpga-season.html2- Lexi Thompson receives a four stroke penalty at the ANA Inspiration. A viewer called in about a possible rules infraction during Saturday's round. *************************************************************************************** www.golfdigest.com/story/lexi-thompson-incurred-a-four-shot-penalty-because-of-a-viewer-calling-in-at-the-ana-inspiration-and-the-reaction-has-been-overwhelmingTony As per the LPGA.....it was an email (99% likely from Korea) that was sent in on SUNDAY afternoon. Those Koreans will do anything to win....they hate CHEATIN blondes.....likely a relative of CHEATIN CHELLA for payback to the 2014 CN CWO.

If you weren't there, you might think that this is rated much too high. If you were, it was a tournament you will never forget. I have seen bigger turnouts (The U.S. Open in Lancaster, Pa. for one), but never seen such a high percentage of the crowd following one player. Unless you got a seat by a hole two hours before she got there, you weren't going to get to see much. Shooting a course record 63 on Saturday under that kind of pressure was remarkable. As each birdie dropped, the noise was deafening. How great would this tour be if they got this kind of support from some of the other big cities? Kudos to the Ottawa fans for showing such marvelous support. ********************************************************************************** Tony Ya....TV would never catch the size/magnitude of the galley following the ECP. I wish I was at Lancaster to watch DUMBO win. Tony...did you watch Brooke play at the 2015 CP CWO?....I only watch one hole...not many watching Brooke and this was a week after her 1st LPGA win in Portland...the galleries were SMALL all week....I was shocked considering the success in 2012. Did you watch Ko on the back 9 at the 2012 CN CWO?....the galleries were HUGE....they were actually HUGE all week. I spoke with a gal who use to work at the pro shop at VGC...she said the excitement from the members had fizzled down when they re-hosted the event in 2015.

She made it to #1 on the Rolex Rankings. All very impressive, but you could sweep all of those stats under the rug. That is not what she will be remembered for. She will be remembered as, arguably, the classiest player ever to play on the LPGA tour. I have been around her for a very long time, and have never seen her not stop for anyone who wanted to talk to her or have her sign an item. When Ai walked off the 18th hole she always had a big smile on her face. There was no way of knowing if she shot a 65 or a 78. We will all miss her. **************************************************************** Tony You got that right...Ai-Chan is a freaking DOLL.....I'll miss her.

Really disagree with the ECP at #3...she gagged/choked on Sunday. Your list was too conventional...how about mine? 10.) Luci Li wins ANA Junior (against a field including Hye Jin Choi) to get into the ANA Championship. 9.) Ha Na Jang quits LPGA Tour - three months after winning in Australia, she is run out of the USA by In Gee Chun and the Flying Dumbos. 8.) Lorena Ochoa Match Play - BadA$$ won it, but no one saw it as there was no TV! We now know that Mexico hates women's golf more than the New York City area. 7.) Nasa Hataoka's reboot - stunk it up badly on the LPGA...had to see a doctor for chest pains after flopping in USWO qualifier in NJ...but retooled her game in Japan and passed LPGA q-school again. 6.) C. Kerr wins Lotte/Hawaii - Kerr schooled and discombobulated KLPGA visitor Su Yeon Jang to get the win. 5.) H. Nomura wins Texas shootout - Haru doesn't let Kerr get into her head and beats her in a marathon playoff. 4.) McKayson NZ Open - One of the worst fields assembled in many years. Smokeshow had the quote of the year when the weather went crazy: "We're like sheeps!" 3.) MHL wins in Scotland - I'll never forget the wide-eyed expression and reaction she gave in the clubhouse when informed that she was the winner. 2.) Evian Championship - a continuing blot on Mike Whan's record that hit rock bottom. 1.) USWO/Bedminster - a ridiculous circus that was effectively sabotaged by the media, Martha's Air Force, and The Purple Gang. But, rising above the garbage was THE AGE OF CYBORG!

If Lexi Thompson could have gotten away with moving her ball two inches closer. She would have won the CME group.
A old TV detective use to say. "If you do the crime, you must do the time."

Personal memorable moment was seeing the president (of the United States) at the US Women's Open. On TV there was Lexi's stupid crying at the Inspiration, and of course In Gee and In-Kyung's beautiful hug on the 18th green at Kingsbarns.

If Lexi don't cheat again, no one will have to call in. Not to mention she also had two other chances to win it anyway. I agree. It is quite strange how in the Western media the onus is placed on literally everyone else in the world except Lexi Thompson. Somehow they even got me feeling like I am partially to blame. After all the person who called it in, and did so in such a devious manner, was in fact one of "us". Listen, just because I have an armchair, and I sit on it while I watch women's golf, it doesn't mean that I also watch footage on zoom, selectively scanning for rules infractions committed specifically by players I don't like. I wouldn't even know the goddamn phone number to call it in to. What's more, I don't ever mark my golf ball from the side. So, again, why am I being implicated here???
