I believe you copied it from lpga.com...unless I'm wrong...there's no such place as Gong Kong, Hong Kong...unless Tiff Chan was born in the basement of a restaurant called Gong Kong in Hong Kong.
LUV the Chinese!...though no one here does.

LUV the Chinese!...though no one here does. I was sent a press release from the Symetra Tour and that is what it showed. I googled it and couldn't find it either. I decided to go ahead and post it. If nothing else it will make readers chuckle. Tony If Whan wasn't so cheap...he could fire the high school intern and hire a REAL employee who won't create FAKE news. So are you going to the 2018 CP CWO in Regina?....I've been there a few times on business...if you and Cindy decide to skip it...I wouldn't blame you for breaking your CWO streak. It's such a sh*thole....I think Glen wouldn't even waste his gas to drive there....lol.

From the USC Trojans website:
Chan, a communication major, is from Hong Kong, growing up in Tuen Mun, a city whose population is about 500,000 in the northwest part of the country.
Tiff was a JUCO transfer to USC after playing two years at Daytona St.
She is very much a product of the Hong Kong Golf Association...I remember a coach-type guy in a Hong Kong golf outfit following her at Rolling Green last year. It must be galling to the Red China golf federation that places outside of China produce way more quality Chinese players. Even with Jenny Money, China couldn't make the UL Crown today, and it just gets worse with Xi Yu Lin going down the drain last week. Muni's probably a better player for leaving China as a kid.

Though China has 1.4 billion people....golf is not popular there....most people are just trying to figure out how to make more than 50 cents a hour.

Though China has 1.4 billion people....golf is not popular there....most people are just trying to figure out how to make more than 50 cents a hour. The bigger embarrassment for Beijing is that with 1.4B people they can't find 11 men for a decent soccer team. They've only qualified for one World Cup since the founding of the so-called People's Republic - 2002, the year Japan and South Korea co-hosted the event - and failed to advance out of the group stage: they won't be in next year's tournament either. The women are actually better although they haven't progressed beyond the quarterfinals since losing to the US in the 1999 championship match. In the club ranks corruption was rampant and top level teams were more interested in shelling out big money to lure international stars to put butts into seats than in developing homegrown talent. Under FIFA rules national associations are supposed to operate at arms length from the government but with Xi Xinping eager to see improvement in the fortunes of the national teams you can't really say that the CFA is totally free of influence from the Communist Party.Kevin
