Guan is sitting on the cut line after rd 1. If he ends up trunk slamming.....he better hope the tee sheet at Mission Hills is full on the weekend..otherwise he'll have few tips from the bag drop-off...he'll likely need to go to his other P/T job at 7-11 this weekend.
Minjee's brother is on the leader board...I wonder if he's as boring as Minjee. Shigeki Maruyama's son is on the leader board too.

From what I saw at Mattawang GC Wednesday, Guan could be quite useful there. For instance, the ball washer at #2 is missing and the brush bristles in a couple of others are worn out. Also, the pencil kept slipping out of the scorecard holder on my gas cart.
SBS Golf will cover this (Korea time):
Fri: 7 PM (Round 2) Sat: 7:30 AM (Round 3) Sun: 7:30 AM (Round 4)
Olweb TV seems to be the only streaming source that has been working consistently for SBS Golf...just have to avoid that site's land mines. It's working now, currently showing a replay of the men's HSBC, Round One.

Scoreboard: www.aacgolf.com/scores/#/competition/1328813/leaderboardThe APAC website they're streaming the tournament live here: www.aacgolf.com/live/The 2017 Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship will be available on broadcast TV in 160 countries around the world, and will be streamed live globally here. The live video schedule of the 2017 AAC is as follows:
October 26: 4p to 7p Auckland Time (11p (10/25) to 2a Eastern) October 27: 4p to 7p Auckland Time (11p (10/26) to 2a Eastern) October 28: 11:30a to 2:30p Auckland Time (6:30p (10/27) to 9:30p Eastern) October 29: 11:30a to 2:30p Auckland Time (6:30p (10/28) to 9:30p Eastern)****** I watched Round Two on and off this AM on SBS Golf...Minwoo made a ridiculous 60-foot eagle putt at warp speed on the last hole to take the lead. They should a brief clip of Guan missing a 3-foot putt (had a TM Spider type of putter). I'm a little confused on the nationality stuff...Sean Maruyama speaks English well and was wearing a Team USA Junior Presidents Cup jacket...is he Asian?! They showed a player with glasses was wearing a Florida Gators cap, Won Jun Lee...and one of his teammates is also there, Andy Zhang.

The live feed at the APAC website is working perfectly. Bill Macatee and Frank Nobilo are among the broadcasters there. Minwoo is holding on to a one-shot lead thru eight holes. Yuxin Lin (one shot back) has a chance to be China's FIGJAM. This golf course has some attractive landscapes. Update: They just said Lin's goal is to play college golf at USC starting in 2019...uh, Muni might be gone by then! They just showed Minwoo tee off with a graphite-shafted iron at the par-5 10th hole and murdered it...crazy swing speed and he's smaller than Justin Thomas. They said MW out-drove Jason Day in a contest earlier this year.

The final threesome is set for Round 4 which will probably produce the winner:
FIGJAM Lin -8 Andy Zhang -7 Minwoo Lee -7
Lee's driver was quite wayward...if he can fix that tomorrow AM, I would make him the favorite.

Phil I assume your avatar is Jung Min Lee from the USWO. Why the pic with the ProV1's?....did she at least give you a sleeve.
I'd have no clue who she is...other than Happyfan just posted a pic of her and the BCcard hat as a tip off.

1) Yuxin Lin (one shot back) has a chance to be China's FIGJAM. 2) This golf course has some attractive landscapes. 3) They said MW out-drove Jason Day in a contest earlier this year. 1) Why Chinese FIGJAM? 2) Yes, a nice looking course vs. the GOAT TRACK Tina signed/shilled up for the Women's Kiwi Open. 3) There's a vid of this.

(it's quite logical and easy IMHO) The photo caption says Ahn Shin Ae ... from my tiny private stash, which has a date of April 20, 2011. The Titleist Korea website has a blog called Team Titleist covering pros who use their products and Sharon was heavily featured in 2010-11. Unfortunately, it looks like they totally revamped it (for the worse) and now it only goes back to 2012. I think it was in 2012 that Sharon switched to Honma clubs and Srixon balls. I also remember some cool pics of her with Titleist goodies at the website of ANK GOLF (Aussie golf factory), but that's all gone, too. I put all this stuff on the old SS forum board, but that went down the drain, too. It didn't occur to me to save some of this stuff for myself.

Just a general nickname for a lefty (like Blonde FIGJAM for Erica Sheppard). I was out most of today...looks like Minwoo never solved the driver problem. With three holes left, it's tied between Zhang and Lin. They showed a brief video yesterday with Fred Ridley and there were about five or six other guys wearing green jackets in the background. Yeah, this is a full-blown Augusta junket.

Lin played like FIGJAM on 17 & 18 to get the win. At least one China person didn't gag choke like the other one in Malaysia...just sayin.
